The picture shows the old version which was a fantastic product - solidly built with excellent clamping force. The new version is sloppy, loose and shows cost cutting manufacturing/design measures having taken over. The local stores only carry the new version so that's why I resorted to an online purchase, basing it on the picture of the old version, which is what I expected to be delivered. Instead they sent the new version which I tested (and it failed my tests) and subsequently returned. Save yourself the money and don't get this new style of 4.5" clamp. Of note, the larger clamps are still made well.

Trigger Clamps….these little yellow clamps are the answer to holding my small projects in place while the glue dries. These clamps are very well constructed. I like that they are easily converted to a spreader Just like the big ones, With a 1-1/2”in throat depth, and 35 lbs of holding pressure and soft pads keeps from damaging soft wood yet hold very firmly. I only bought 8 (at a very reasonable price) just to try them I really didn’t think they would work so well. I am very happy with this product. I will be buying more of these little yellow clamps. These are a great little clamp

They adjust easily, and hold firmly. The pads prevent marring on soft wood, and the tightening trigger is very smooth and tactile. The slider bars are thick enough not to bend under pressure, and the ergonomics relate a feel of precision. The construction seems tight, and there is no movement in the end bar clamp. I am very happy with these, and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them for my smaller projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Grip Went cheap and bought the comparable from HF. The HF clamps strip the second you click past a tight grip. These are amazing. I tested them all in the store on the shelves. I clicked past their tightest three clicks and it still did not strip. I bought 4. I will give the HF clamps to someone else or throw them in the trash. Only Dewalt Trigger clamps for me. Also purchased the 4 pack of two Dewalt 6" and two 12" trigger clamps.

I’ve used them for woodworking and various other projects. IN fact I find myself lookin for a reason to need a clamp just so I can use them. are these 6'' in. or 12'' or what it doesn't say anywhere in this add?

These are not the 6" or 12" clamps. These are super tiny. Perhaps 3" or 4". I bought all three sizes. In the picture, you will see the package of 6" and 12" clamps. The 4 small clamps you see attached to the larger clamps are the small trigger clamps.

Yes. The max distance between each jaw pad when fully open, which is 4-7/8 by my measurement. The throat depth (pad to bar) is about 1-1/4.

DeWalt, did you change Chinese sub contractors? I see lots of rave reviews from 2019 and before, but the ones I bought this year are crap - every bar is bent at both ends, making jaws misaligned.
