Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality construction, poor design Build quality seems to be excellent as you'd expect from DeWalt. The problem is that ALL of the top and bottom edges are rounded so you can't use it to scribe a line. Even the milled surface is bordered by a rounded edge. The ancient, flimsy I-beam level I replaced with this one had square edges for scribing and I was disappointed to find this one so much less useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best overall level I have ever used. I bought the level twice now, but certainly didn't have too I just let mine get dirty but it is still plumb. It has a tough durable build quality and design, that can take even the beating from bricklayer treatment. I've dropped it from many a scaffold with no qualms. It's 1/3 the price of Stabila level, and way more durable. I believe this is because of the I beam design. It also has a groove they add in the middle of the level surface, that leaves a void for debris too not throw you off level. The ease of use of this thing is phenomenal, and I see no reason for this not to easily last a lifetime.
