The DEWALT DCD130B 60V MAX Cordless Brushless 1/2-inch Mixer/Drill with E-Clutch System has over 2X the power of our corded mixer allowing it to easily mix thinset, tile mortar, and fiber reinforced concrete. In addition to mixing, the powerful brushless motor allows the DCD130 to tackle demanding drilling applications. In order to improve control the Mixer/Drill has anti-rotation E-Clutch System, which offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool. This feature senses the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary. The red indicator LED illuminates when the E-Clutch System is engaged. DCD130 Mixer/Drill using DCB606 battery compared to DEWALT's DW 130V corded mixing drill (battery sold separately).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Monster of a Drill Great Mixer!! I mainly use it for mixing 30kg bags of Sackrete, but it mixes mortar and mud well too. It can mix 60kg batches of Sackrete (2 bags or 1 cubic foot) in a 7 gal pale without breaking a sweat. For mortar and mud it's probably overkill but the variable speed switch lets you adjust the power and reduce splatter. I was a little concerned about the e-clutch being over sensitive and engaging prematurely, but that hasn't been an issue. I haven't tried drilling with it yet but I can't imagine it having any issues with even the largest self-feeding and wood auger bits. I did buy a 6" dirt auger for it and it has plenty of torque for digging holes as long as the ground isn't too rocky. This tool is a real beast. If you need torque look no further.
