Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good gun Was pretty impressed with the gun over at All Maybe DeWalt should start sending these out for real people that work with them to Use Because I didn't use it for 20 minutes and I realize that you could only put one clip in at a time of Nails That Sucks Good extended the Nail Bar a couple of inches so you could put two racks in at a Time So if you like to reload the gun twice as Much It's a great gun So the wall you really screwed the pooch on that One I would have gave five stars no problem Would have been a really great Gun If you would have just have had someone tested it that uses these tools everydayThey would have told you right off

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just ok but competition is better Disclaimer: I'm a DIY/enthusiasts-not a tradesman I like Dewalt tools, I own quite a few. I got this nailer after careful consideration between it and the Milwaukee, Metabo-hpt. Pros: -Does drive 3 inch nails properly through all types of wood -Battery life seemed decent -It's heavy, but bearable Cons: -It does have notable recoil and because of this, nailing overhead often results in nails not being fully sunk because you can't keep pressure on the material to account for the recoil -Ramp up time before the striker is active -rafter hook is not great In the end, I did end up returning this nailer in favor of the Milwaukee nailer that uses a sealed nitrogen cylinder instead of a flywheel motor. I really wanted to like this nailer because I already have the batteries etc but in the end, might as well just have all the batteries for all the platforms and just go with the best tool. This can get expensive but since I'm just a DIY'er I don't need 10 batteries for each platform so it's more manageable cost wise. Dewalt really needs to up their game here as this nailer is getting old.

Can this be used for nailing T-111 siding?
Asked by: 67Boy
Yes, if you use the 2-3/8th inch galvanized nails and set the nailer to sink flush with the siding, or you can recess the nails and then fill with putty or caulk
