Rated 1 out of 5 by from Adhesive is terrible - I DID remove paper backing and it still FAILED Removed the paper backing from first disc out of the box of 15 and attached the DeWalt 5in orbital sander. Disc flew off within 3 seconds. Stuck it back on, making sure I hadn't left an edge flapping up for some reason. Same result. Sorry if you're charging a buck per pad then they all need to work. Wouldn't recommend!!

Cleaned the drum thoroughly and dried according to tool manufacturer instructions, but the padskeep coming off. Tried twice with same results. They sure do feel sticky, they just don't stay on.

Why have the 6 7/8 inch for 36, 60, 80, 100, but not for 120, 180, 220? Not compatible with the EZ Sand rental.
Asked by: Kristy
Hello Kristy! The Alto 6 7/8” sander is useful in removing existing finish on floors and working the floor back up to a surface that is ideal for replacing the finish. When working with wood floors, you still want to maintain some scratch pattern or “surface” in order for the finish to create hold on the surface. To do this, the ideal surface would be between 100-150 grit. If you would like the surface to be worked up past that point, you may want to look into using a 5” or 6” Random Orbital Sander. We hope this information is helpful!

What's the difference in the sanding discs with the holes and without the holes? Does one work better than the other?

It's for the 6" diablo orbital sander
Asked by: Summer
If your sander has holes, like most orbital sanders, you need to buy disk with the same amount of holes, those holes should match up with the holes on the sander. It helps with dust removal. If your sander does not have holes, like a disk sander, get the disk without holes.

Is the trough/grove for the slide miter for the side orbital sander a standard size? If I take an additional one and make into a jig, will it work? Thanks
