Pros: -Fits as expected -Has enough room to move comfortably in while doing physical jobs -Lots of pockets for holding tools, cellphone, etc. -Fabric is more durable than denim or twill -Fabric is warmer than denim or twill (ie: good for cold weather, bad in hot/humid weather) -Dust & dirt seems to brush off easily enough if pants get dirty from either one (albeit not fully but the pants still look decent enough though) Cons: -Fabric is warmer than denim or twill (ie: good for cold weather, bad in hot/humid weather) -Hammer loop on left side is too small for thicker hammer handles or heavier hammers -Front hands pockets are a little bit narrow for fitting hands through

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit long I have worn and loved the white painter pants for several years. Love love love. Ordered the black duck carpenter pants hoping for same experience. Jury is still out. Love the pockets (especially the “cell phone” pocket. They seem longer than the 32” ordered (hoping for some shrinkage there) We’ll see

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great over all pant !! I used to wear regular blue jeans almost exclusively until I tried these pants. I love the fit and the material. They are comfortable and wear well. I have sometimes taken the hammer loop feature off (cut it off) if I use the pants just for day wear and not work wear. They have a good choice of colours but I think they discontinued the very light tan one a while ago. I would say give these a try!

Im an elevator mechaninc and my company orders these for us now. wish they were bigger in the thigh/pocket area. a little too tight for me. have to go a size up but then forced to wear a belt. Hopefully this changes. I still would not wear anything else. could be slimmer at the ankle too.
