The only issue i had was the electrical connection, a little adjustment of the connection and no problems since. I wish the termination box was larger but all electrical equipment is small on that end.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died within days. Replacement died a month later So far I’ve purchased two of the 1250w units as well other various wattages. Digital boards go out and don’t come back. All died within weeks and days as well there replacements. And there replacements died! All were installed by a certified electrician and each wire was tested and photograph to show it had proper wattage required for each heater. Now I’m currently fighting with Dimplex for a full refund as well as costs for removal and replacement! Shouldn’t be on the shelves total waste of time and money.

If the power goes out and is restored do you need to manually power these baseboards back on or will they resume functionality at the same temperature as was set prior to the power outage with no intervention? I need a solution for a cabin.

    Asked by: Cberthelette
Good Day, The base board will come back on when the power resumes and will go back to the temperature it was originally set. Thank You Glen Dimplex Armericas Customer Experience Team.

I have a wall plug right above the heater ... does the wall get hot when in use? Thanks.

    Asked by: Alicat
Good day Alicat, It is not recommended to have an outlet above the heater. All Plastic items that cannot withstand extended exposure to temperatures 60º C or higher should be kept a minimum of 20" (50.8 cm) above the unit. Thank you

I want to replace an old unit with a Dimplex and connect it to the wall thermostat that already controls the other b-board heater in the same room. Can I do this or do I have to buy a new thermostat and 2 new units?

    Asked by: colette
Colette, You can do that as long as the thermostat and circuit can support the additional amp draw. You would need to see how many amps the breaker is and the max wattage the thermostat supports. In that case, we'd suggest you use this baseboard heater instead as it does not have a built-in thermostat. https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.1250w-linear-convector-baseboard---white.1000709849.html You will also need to make sure that you wire the heaters in parallel and not in series.

In a lot of installations you are able to install these in place of older ones. Please review the installation instructions and clearance requirements in the instruction manual before proceeding. Thank you.

Is this product 120V or 240V?

The installation instructions talk about the line/L1 and the neutral/L2. Neutral to me means that it is 120V. I do need it to be 240V.
    Asked by: Anonymous
Hello. Yes, this product is a 240v unit. The installation instructions are written to be included with available 120v units as well. Thank you.
