Rated 1 out of 5 by from You pay for what you get - poor quality! Poorly made, very dissatisfied! Yes they were cheap & initially I was going to buy a more expensive door, which I was willing to order & pay for, however one of your store sales staff advised these were a best seller. Maybe because of the price??? Should have gone with my initial thought ‘you pay for what you get’!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stripping came loose and screen fell out. The stripping that holds the screen in place came out on every side (without applying any force to the screen). If you buy this I recommend fastening it in place with a staple gun prior to install.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This door is junk! Don't even waste your time with this door, it is a great example of 'you get what you pay for'. You will spend more time and more money just trying to get it to be functional you might as well buy a better one from a better company that doesn't sell its customers products that fall apart instantly. These doors come terribly warped because of the little amount of materials used and it cant even be fixed, because of the cheap materials used, it would just split more than it already was (the joints at the corners were breaking and falling apart after a couple of open/close cycles). Also the screen constantly falls out which has to always be pushed in or glued to stay in. Take your $35 and make your own, I guarantee it would be better than this pile of fire wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total waste of money. I should have read the review before buying this (bought 06/16/2019). Much the same experience. The door sags apart; I had to buy a cable, hooks, and a turnbuckle to hold it together. The screen is barely held in with the spline which has already started to come out; I've had to staple the screen in place. The door is barely held together, it is warped and crooked. This is by far the worst item I've ever purchased at Home Depot. I could have, and should have made it myself; it wouldn't have been perfect, but it would be better made and cost less. Take this garbage out of your store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total waste of money I bought this for a screened porch in a back yard. It looked good when installed, but within two hours it was sagging and dragging in the deck surface. I bought L-Brackets for each corner for support, but still sagged. It was so bad I had to lift the door when opening and closing it. I ended up removing it and built my own. I further decided to save the screening material for repairing a basement window, and when I took the screen out of the frame, it fell apart. The screen was what was holding it together. I think the factory forgot to glue it. I went back to the store, only to notice at least two more of the dozen or so starting to fall apart as well. Buy an aluminum one if you need a screen door, as this one will surely disappoint you!

Can a door handle be attached to this door and can it be cut to make it smaller? Thanks!!

Asked by: chrisandi
Hi purchased this door last year, unfortunately it is very weak. You can only put screw in a small pull handle on it. The framework is weak and after installing it for our screened in veranda it did not hold it shape very well. I had to had to solidify the top of the frame. It only lasted the summer by fall even the mosquito screen started to fall off. I guess you pay for what you get. It cost me $32 and ended up as kindling for my fire place. I am not sure if they have improved it. If you can unwrap it before purchasing, it is very lite hold it from one side like it was fixed to a frame and see if it still is squared. I would not purchase it again.
