It was very inconvenient as I had to go and buy additional components to complete the job. Home depot did a great job of delivering. I got the order within the time promised. thank you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good base, over-priced for the finish I read dozens of reviews before purchasing this shower base. Many of the reviews for less expensive bases indicated that the shower bases flexed or moved once fitted and we wanted a strong and stable base - hence our purchase of this substantially more expensive model. While the base appears to be strong and well moulded, the circular supports on the underside of the base were not applied uniformly across the base and the depth of these supports, which should level the base according to the contour of the floor pan, did not match sufficiently to allow the base to sit steady on a level floor. In other words, when on a level floor the base rocked from side to side and back to front when weight was applied. It took a considerable amount of time and effort to trim the supports so that the base sat level, without rocking when weight was applied. While the base seems to be fine, you would reasonably expect the base to sit level. Way more care needs to be taken in the finishing of the supports during manufacture for this base to be worth what you pay for it. Quality control needs attention.
