Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a Great Product After getting some very expensive quotes for repairing the leaking crack in my basement wall I turned to doing it myself using the Dricore system. It was a very simple procedure following the easy instructions even though I had to get it between the staircase and the wall where the stair stringer was 14 1/2 inches wide. When finished I got what I think is an even better repair than the professionals offered at less than 1/3 the price. The leak is history and with the 12 inch wide carbon fiber epoxied over the injected crack from top to bottom I don't believe the crack will ever move being actually stronger than the original wall. Very happy, thank you Dricore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked exactly as advertised. Let's start with others have said, you need a step one prep tube, the filler ports are sold separately and I used two tubes for step 2. I can't stress this enough, buy an extra tube or two, you can return it. My crack was fairly straight, 8 foot wall, standard poured concrete, 1/16" - 1/8" wide. I widened the crack by chiseling a slight v into the crack. When applying step one, push it deep into the crack and use the entire tube to get a thick coverage over the crack. I had a slight blowout at a thin spot when filling. Also use as much product over the filler ports. I didn't have any come off, but I can see it happen if you don't use enough, excess is what you're aiming for. I also waited 26 hours before filling as cold temperatures can cause the epoxy to cure slowly. Also at the top of the wall the crack more than likely extend across the top. Cover this with epoxy, you may not be able to see it, but use a glove and mash the stuff everywhere , otherwise the step 2 will come out from here and not out the outside of the wall. When filling with step two, squeeze slowly. Slowly. Think slow, then go slower. If you rush this you will blow off a port or blowout your epoxy. You've been warned. Slow! You may feel like the step 2 will never come out the next port, but it will, wait, squeeze slowly and enjoy the rewards of your patience. Good luck. It worked perfectly and a fraction of the cost of paying someone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Used this over the weekend to seal up a crack in the basement foundation. Worked perfectly & in my opinion did the same or better job at a fraction of the cost of having it done by professionally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. Great product, works through even extremely small cracks, just be patient when injecting as it can be very slow if the crack is small.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works, but could use a bit more instruction I purchased this and the Crack Prep from HD for 2 x 4 foot hairline foundation cracks. Accurate that the contents will cover 8 feet. Agree with other comments that the contents need to be warmed up to at least room temperature prior to applying / injecting, especially if applying outdoors in cooler months, unless you have a very strong grip. Also make sure to repeatedly cover the Port base with the Crack Prep, as the Crack Injection will expand through any tiny gap. Could have used a bit more clarity as to how much of the crack to drill to allow the Crack Injection contents to properly expand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water leaks This product worked as stated, it was easy to use if you follow the instructions. I had a crack the full height of the wall and needed two tubes. Lots of rain since no leaks, good product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good, make sure ports are sealed well! I bought this to repair a hairline crack that was leaking. 3 of the ports weren't sealed enough and as a result the injection at those ports didn't work. Ordered more to re-do a few sections. Also, buy extra in case you mess up or burst the tube (I also did this).

We have hairline cracks in our basement walls, through which water is coming in. Will this system work with tiny hairline cracks?

Asked by: FBear
Yes, I filled my hairline cracks with it.  The key thing is to use a wire brush to get the crack a little wider and so that the epoxy fir the poets will adhere better.

Does it work for hailine leaking crack for corner of basement window?

Asked by: Priya
Please ensure the crack is in the wall only, and does not extend to the window. The injection system can handle hairline cracks so there isn't a true minimum. Generally, the thinner the crack the more likely it is that the injection epoxy will not travel from port to port as designed. This is due to the fact that the crack is so thin that will not be cracked continually through the concrete. In this case, it is possible that there could be sections that the epoxy will not take but the surface prep will aid in filling those areas that are too thin to accept the injection epoxy.

Can I use this product during the winter months? Would be applied from the interior side of wall in an uninsulated basement. Is there

At temperatures below 77°F (25°C) this product will take proportionately longer time to begin expanding. At temperatures above 77°F (25°C) it will take a proportionately shorter time to begin expanding. Thin layers (5 mil) will become tack-free in approximately 45 minutes 77°F (25°C). APPLICATION TEMPERATURE 40°F (5°C) to 110°F (43°C). If ambient temperature is below 70°F (21°C), condition the cartridge to 70-75°F (21-24°C) for at least 1 hour before using it. CONDITION PRODUCT When the work environment or substrate falls below 70˚F (21˚C) condition the product to 70-75˚F (21˚C - 24˚C) prior to use. Temperature will affect the workability and cure time of epoxy.

Can this product be used in underground foundation, which it is wet or high moisture inside of the crack? Thanks,

Asked by: Sam123
Hello SAM123, The Step 2 Polyurethane will do fine in the moist environment and will penetrate the crack, the wall surface will need to be dry for the epoxy to adhere however.

sorry this question was for the crack injection, does it come out like caulking or more of a liquid form like water.

Asked by: Ronb
It is a two-part epoxy-like mixture that will expand into the crack and fill it fully. It is an excellent repair product.

Is this DriCore step 2 product polyurethane closed cell foam or epoxy? Thank you

Asked by: Andrew
It's an expanding foam injection put through ports approx 14 to 18 inches apart. But the surface of the cracks are covered by an epoxy resin and left to dry for a longer time period prior to injection

Is this product suitable to use on a vertical crack at the corner of a concrete foundation where two walls meet? Is there a more suitable product?

Asked by: Travis
Special ports are required for inside corners. DRICORE Pro Concrete Repair would not be compatible for your application. Please contact Rhino Carbon Fiber, they have a product suitable for your application 1-855-219-9560.
