Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could Have Been Better I was quite disappointed with my purchase. The brackets to hold the shield were clunky and full of raw, sharp edges. They were not a professional bracket specific to the purpose. I believe they were manufactured by a window company that just used window channels for the brackets. I had to file down all the sharp edges and purchase appliance paint for the raw edges.

Unable to return as too hard to drag such a huge, heavy item back to the store, and with covid can’t wait another 4 weeks for a replacement, or want to pay $35 shipping fee twice. Rocks a bunch as base is light but doesn’t tip over.

How thick is the glass? How heavy is the whole shield?
