Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! This is a great security device. It works as advertised and as a homeowner without a great deal of technical knowledge, it was not too difficult at all to install. I like the fact iCloud isn’t a prerequisite and it snaps a photo when the doorbell is rung or motion is detected (if set to do so). It connected flawlessly with our existing door chime and so we’re using the one that came with it in the basement.

The picture quality is great and it survived a couple scorching summers and a typical frigid winter but recently Westinghouse was purchased/acquired by Dusco Doors. They recently updated the Westinghouse Security app that you need to use to view the video but the app crashes when launching. I tried to email the tech support that is still listed as westinghouse but just got bounce backs. I called the number that was listed in another review and actually spoke to a live person to report the problem. Thing is nothing has been done to fix the app crashing and other than the doorbell functioning as a doorbell only, that is what we get I guess so be aware of this BEFORE you purchase

Can the existing doorbell be left wired up, and the wireless doorbell that comes with the kit be used in addition ?   Wanting to keep the existing hardwired bell on the main floor, add 1 to the basement
