Great color options, somewhat realistic flame, and normal heater (similar to all other electric fireplaces). Pros loved the color options but the only realistic flame is on normal or low setting all else is too much. The fii look and is a decent flame compared to others but it did have one major glitch. If you look closely the flame goes backwards (instead of coming from the top at one rotation of the mechanism the flame comes from the top to the bottom). The turning mechanism also makes grinding sounds. Easy to install, fun color options, ok flame and heater, and the rocks look good but I wouldn’t use the logs.

The remote control makes it easy to turn on and off (including heat choices), as well as to choose the various color combinations for flame, frame, and overall ambiance. Additionally, the mobile fireplace application makes it super convenient to control the fireplace from anywhere, via cell phone. Today is one week since our fireplace was installed and the product completed, and we are so happy with it; our expectations have been exceeded!

Put ours in the wall in our finished basement and does take the chill out somewhat with the heater. You might be confused when putting it together by the front glass…..it angles back and not straight up. We looked a long time and H.D. Beat all prices with that fantastic coupon they regularly put out.

Is this Kid safe? The glass won't be hot to touch if we have the heat on, correct? Does it have a control panel on the front they will be able to access or is it controlled by app and control only? Is the glass tempered/Shatterproof?

Hi Eric, The front glass will not be hot to the touch when the heat is on maximum - the maximum temperature for the heater is 86 degrees. There are control buttons on the top left of the unit that is accessible from the front. The fireplace can be controlled via the app or remote simultaneously.
