I don't have a lot of experience with chainsaws, so I guess there's some tiny chance that I'm mistaken about my expectations, but I have bought 2 chains (not the rapper) for this saw, and its shocking how quickly it dulls to the point of smoking and sparking. It gets maybe 2 dozen cuts through a 5" diameter tree and its dull. These chain saw blades seem to be made from the worlds softest metal. Not sure why they don't use a hardened steel, or diamond abrasive on the teeth, or ..., ..., ... No matter what chainsaw chain you buy, you better plan on picking up a sharpening kit as well. And apparently you can only sharpen a chain 2 or 3 times before you have to replace it, so don't plan on doing a whole lot of cutting without quickly wracking up considerable expense.

I bought this and another brand from Home Depot that was >15% cheaper and decided to use the other brand first when I replaced the old chain. So far no need to change to the Echo blade so I am wondering if the extra price difference is worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from disappointed Bought the chainsaw for a tree that fell, Some of the trunk was in the dirt so I had to sharpen the chain and kept going. Ended up bending the blade, it got loose on me and I didnt catch it in time. I ordered a replacement chain and used on the remainder of the tree. Had to sharpen twice before I finished which wasnt that much. Had to stick with this chain because Oregon did not offer a replacement. Could have lasted better. Not going to get rid of the chainsaw, imoressed with that.

The 57 link fits the ECHO Bar. The 56 link fits if you have changed the Echo bar to an Oregon bar.

I know this may seem a bit silly... Listed as compatible with bar 16AOCD3757C, what about 16AOCD3757? and if so please update so people don't have to ask. One never knows about revisions.

Asked by: dissapoimted
Hi there! Thank you for your inquiry. So, part# 16AOCD3757C and 16AOCD3757 are the same product, some just come with the "C" printed at the end and others don't have it. At the end you will be able to use this chain on either of these bars. I'm sorry for the confusion.
