Rated 2 out of 5 by from Strong start but quickly deteriorated I bought this about a month ago to cycle water out of the pool, through some black tubing and then back into the pool. Worked great at the start, but after 6 times it could no longer pull water from the pool, so I moved it such that a siphon fed the pump rather than lifting water. This worked not bad for another 6 times and now the pump won't push any water at all (yes, I oiled it each time before use). I've taped the inlet/outlet just to ensure a good seal, but this makes no difference. The kit comes with a spare impeller, however absolutely no instructions anywhere as to how to change it. I've contacted Eco-flo but haven't heard back yet. Very disappointing experience, definitely the weak link in my solar project.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didnt produce 8 feet of lift Unit is advertised as up to 43' of lift. When connected to a brand new, leak tested hose, and putting lube in the suction as instructed, this pump would not lift water 8 feet. Pumps fine from a bucket at the same level as the pump, but when required to lift water, wont lift any significant distance. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! Bought this to run water from rain barrels to garden. Works perfectly, with nice gentle flow. Runs off a tiny 12v battery. No need for a switch since hose spray attachment has a shut off. Only issue was with the little hose that comes with it. Male end was no good so I just replaced the end.

Hello, For those of you that have had it for a while is it still working? How many uses have you gotten out of it?

I bought this pump last year and used it to water a garden- 10 rows -70 ft long. Using weeping irrigation hoses. It pushed and watered great with 5 hoses attached to it. I did not try more than that. Used probably 8 times - running about 45 minutes each time. I did not follow directions and neglected to add the oil to the intact inlet each time I used it. I should have because there is a wearable rubber part in it that requires this. I used it twice this year and then it started to squeal - unfortunately I think it ran for about 20 minutes with no water running through. The issue was the impeller was worn because of lack of oiling that I mentioned. There was a replacement impeller included in the package so I replaced it, but unfortunately I had ruined it by letting it run dry. So I would say that it is a good pump -lots of pressure , but I did not maintain it properly. If you add the oil as directed it should work well.

Can this pump be used with drinking (ex. in an RV)?
