Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Water Filtration System I purchased this 8 months ago and could no longer put up with its dismal performance - went out today and purchased a whole new system from another brand. I was drawn to this product because of the brushed faucet finished and easy twist in cartridges, however like other reviews the water flow is really slow. I mean really slow... 15-20 seconds to fill a standard glass. The other brands system is now installed and fills my glass in 3 seconds. Home Depot should really drop this product from its stores.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unbearable flow I did not read the first review before I bought this one. I have used it for about 7 months. I replaced a new set of filter and the water flow was extremely low and I had to buy a water dispenser store water. Do not buy this one. Product should not be sold in home depot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very impressed with this. I bought this in May. Was easy enough to install but almost immediately the filter started slowing down till it finally came to a trickle in July. Called Ecopur who said depending on the hardness or softness of the water in my city, some filters will last only weeks! Wish I knew that when I purchased it. They suggested I buy a water softener in addition. So be aware if your water is hard and then be prepared to be buying replacement filters every couple months and not every 6 months. The filter light never came on to say it needed replacing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very low pressure I bought this back in December 2015 and installed it around New Years. I bought it to replace another system I was using to filter the tap water in my Kitchen. The easy change cartridge system is what sold me on this particular one. I do have to say that changing the filter cartridges is very simple, for that I do like about the product. My main issue with this is that the water pressure coming out of the tap is very low. It's painstakingly slow. I've even timed it. To fill a cup of water (250 ml) from my regular tap takes on average 2.5 seconds. To fill the same cup of water from the filter tap takes on average 14.5 seconds. I though I'd give the system a while to see if flow improved (break in the filters????). Now here I am in April.... I've double checked all the connections and the issue seems to be with one of the filters (Filter 2). The hole that allows the water to flow through isn't much bigger than a straightened out large paperclip (I tried to see if I could clean it out or something as per Glacier Bay's cust service suggestion). With my old system, I had great water pressure out of the filter tap, and I knew when to change the filters because I could notice the drop in water pressure (which would still be better than what I'm getting now). Now I wish I stuck with my old system...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but failed after 2 yrs You'll need to understand a few basic plumbing mechanics to install this unit but more importantly you'll need to know how to install the cartridges properly. They might seem simple and convenient but I had to be very careful with the replacements as they leaked at first. With a little adjustment they would work fine (install/uninstall/re-install) making sure the shut valve had stopped the water pressure. The water quality is excellent. The water flow is slow but I don't care because I'm not filling gallons of water at the time. Typically I fill a coffee reservoir for my Nespresso and feed my ice maker. Unfortunately 2 yrs after I bought the unit it suddenly started to leak. Luckily I was home and was able to quickly turn off the water and bypass the unit. The cartridges were ready to be replaced (every 6 months) so I decided to purchase the same unit again since all the plumbing and tubing was already there. The installation of the new unit took less than 2 minutes with the quick connect tubing already in place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the water is a murky white Not really sure how to rate this one yet..it was pretty easy to install but my only complaint is the water when poured into a clear glass tea kettle is a slightly murky white.. not sure why cause I did run the water through for over 20min.. not sure how to fix this problem now

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very bad product! Bought this a couple months ago and not even two weeks of using, the filter that came with package is already getting plugged(very slow drip from faucet)... Replaced filter and lo and behold, not even a week of using and flow is already slowed down to just a drip!

what is the finish on a faucet? Stainless steel or Chrome?

Asked by: Anne
The finish is chrome.   I purchased a matching set to match kitchen faucet and replaced the original unit.
