Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be forewarned of lies in product description tl;dr For the price it's hard to get a better deal for what you need if you're looking for an RO. I highly recommend it. Two stars removed for problems detailed below... I've spent over twenty years working with ROs like this one (it's based on the last model I used to install, albeit far cheaper and not as efficient). Picked this up today and installed immediately, took about ten minutes because I was switching out an existing (different, older model) unit that also utilizes the quick connect fittings. Pros: They're not joking about how nice the filter changes are compared to other models. It was a major factor in picking this model. It's about as simple as it can get without having it automated. Quick connects. Cannot stress enough how AMAZING these are compared to older fittings. If you ever need to move it, or switch it out for another unit (if it leaks, if you decide it's cheaper to buy a new one rather than a membrane, etc), it's an extremely fast process, especially with the color coding involved. Cons: Product description: "Maximum daily production rate is 18.46 Gal. per day" Manual lists max daily product at 14.76 gpd (this is an absolute lie, production rate is only 80% listed and requires ideal conditions, which means it's pouring into an open air tank, not a pressurized storage tank as exists in this setup; pressure pushes back on the system and reduces production rate; rate reduction increases as pressure in storage tank increases) Product description: "Faucet light tells you when it’s time to replace your filters." Simple timer, NOT an actual quality test like the one I'm used to (which checks membrane quality). Specs only list a filter change indicator so this is just misleading, not a straight up lie Product description does NOT mention how small the tank is. MAYBE 2 gallons stored, probably closer to only 1.5. I'm keeping my old storage tank until I can hook both up to minimize the problems the low production rate will cause. Other problems: Received from curbside pickup opened. Missing a critical part: this unit, because it is a reverse osmosis unit, requires a flow control in the red tube to the drain to push restrict flow and increase internal water pressure. Our unit DID NOT come with one. Since I was replacing an existing unit I did have one but it is for a different model and may not work properly. Not pleased. I have had to troubleshoot units installed by "professional" installers where they had almost no water produced over days, and the problem generally a missing flow control. Someone who doesn't know it needs to be there or knows and assumes instead of checking, as I did, will wind up getting very little water from their RO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact Replacement for a Kenmore RO unit NLA We bought this system since it matched the former Kenmore version that we had purchased 5 years ago. Other than cosmetic differences, it is the same unit. Our Kenmore had began to leak in the upper area where the filters and media are mounted. This unit was a direct replacement, allowing us to use the replacement filters and media we had purchased for the original unit. Since it is the same system, all the existing lines disconnected from the original and were simply reconnected to the new Ecopure unit. We used the existing storage tank, lines and tap. It provides the same clear, fresh pure water that we enjoyed prior to replacement and allows the existing filters and media to be used

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still Perfectly working after 4 years Bought this ecopure system in Dec-2015 and became our house hold main drinking, cooking water source . I even buy fancy water bottle from the store and refill them with my ecopure water and take it to work every day. M-F the filters last me about 13-15 months then I replace them . I bought one for my parents in Sun city, AZ and my mom dont drink water if its not from her water system.I hop they keep their quality though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service I had a small issue with a leak that was caused by a pinched o-ring during manufacture. Eco-pure sent me a replacement without issue. System is installed (easy to do) and producing some awesome drinking water!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great We've had this for a few years now, and haven't had any issues. We hooked it up through our fridge so our water and ice are both RO. It tastes great and I feel good knowing we are getting rid of the chromium-6 which is high in our city tap water. It took a little extra finagling to install since we were going through the fridge and not through the included faucet, but nothing a couple of totally non-handy noobs couldn't figure out.

Hello is this a 3 stage unite? Will 4need a water booster to work with my refrigerator ice maker&water

    Asked by: Paul
It depends on your water pressure. If you are on city water, you will most likely not need a water booster.

what hook up requirements is there... ? Is it easy to install? What is required?

    Asked by: CaptainNS
Hook up is pretty straight forward. They provide you with a number of good length coloured tubing which simply use push connectors when connecting to the various items. For under the sink installs, the amount of plastic tubing would certainly suffice for the most common installs. If you're opting for a more remote install location, you'd need to purchase additional tubing. All in all the system installed quite easily...maybe 1 hour max?

Does this filter mount under the sink

    Asked by: Murphy34
You bet. It can be installed under the sink or in a more remote location. I opted for under the sink and I have room to spare, even with a nice size tank and this unit.
