Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing rubber guard I’ve purchased eco smart chandelier bulbs in both the 2700k and 3000 temp ratings. The bulbs are taller than traditional incandescent bulbs. As a result, the chrome section between the glass portion and the thread sticks out above the socket shields. This poses a shocking hazard. The first set of bulbs I bought came with a rubber shield/cover which prevented this shock hazard. The bulbs I recently purchased did not come with the shields and my daughter was zapped while trying to tighten the bulb. Included is a photo of an old style bulb and the LED with the rubber guard. As I mentioned, the last batch I bought did not come with the rubber guards. I’d like a contact at Home Depot to escalate.

I don't see the base size/type stated anywhere, but the photo looks like a candelabra / E12 base, is this correct? I've searched everywhere with the model number but I don't see it. It really should be in the description.

Does this bulb give off a lot of heat? Need it for a desk lamp in a 20 by 10 ft room. Regular bulbs created too much heat for this small room. so looking to replace the bulb with one that remains cool and doesn't create heat.
