This EcoSmart A21 Smart LED light bulb is equipped with customizable light settings that can be controlled wirelessly via your existing network Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth enables the option to control the bulb locally when the Wi-Fi network is offline. Simply control the LED bulbs via the Hubspace app or your voice control device. This energy efficient LED bulb is dimmable via app and uses only 12.2-Watts of energy to produce up to 1600 Lumens, equivalent to a 100-Watt incandescent bulb. Equipped with tunable white technology, these smart LED bulbs can be set to any color temperature between 2700K (Soft White) and 5000K (Daylight). You also have the option of choosing from a full color spectrum, allowing you to choose the perfect light appearance for your space. Enjoy a SMART life starting with this SMART bulb.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Device for my first entry into home automation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the EcoSmart 100-Watt Equivalent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth A21 SMART Hubspace LED Light Bulb a week ago. I've been a slow adopter of home automation, (I don't trust Alexa, Siri or Hey, Google!), but this unit will operate with an app that can be downloaded to my iPhone and doesn't require any of those. It was simple to set up, and fairly easy to figure out how the bulb worked with the app. The different color patterns are quite interesting and will be a hit at a party. My only problem with the bulb is when it's turned to 100% brightness, it emits a hum. Turn it down to 90%, it's still plenty bright and no more hum!

I like them because if you’re out at night and you forgot to turn on your light before you left, you can turn the light on from anywhere. The light gives you the options of either having it shine white or a full color spectrum. This will work with Alexa or Google. I have mine set up with Alexa. Since it’s an LED bulb the energy cost is far less that regular incandescent bulb. You can set it up to come on at a scheduled time or by using your voice through Alexa or Google. Or if you don’t want to have it connected to wi-if you can use it as a regular type bulb

The Hubspace app is super easy to install and add the light bulb. The program is likewise very easy to use. The variations in color tones and intensity are super nice to adjust to the need at the time of use. Was a bit disillusioned thinking that the light went to different deeper colors other than white, however after thoroughly checking out the instructions and app all is better.

The LED light makes it energy efficient with using very little power. The “Hubspace” Application is easy to use and download. The application will run all the features of the lamp. You can link with Google Home as well as Alexa to operate all the features with voice control. Change colors, turn on and off, set timers, set schedules, all can be done with ease. The lamp will easily sync with your WiFi to work all the features. This product is easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to install. It works well just as described. Eco friendly and does the job.

If you mainly plan to use it for the white colors and don't care about RGB brightness, then it may suit you just fine. Connection and setup was relatively quick and easy, however I ended having to manually type in the bulb's code into the app as my phone's camera wasn't picking up the QR code printed on the bulb. The Hubspace app is decent for this price point and offers numerous lighting mode options.

It is bright with 1600 lumens & will last approx. 22.8 years based on 3 hrs/day and you can select from multiple shades of white or a full spectrum of colors via the HUBSPACE app. You can also link it to Alexa or Hey google. The consumer friendly HUBSPACE app has a very quick response time (see my video) with many features that are easy to find & use. I have used & tested this bulb and I am extremely happy with the line of EcoSmart SMART BULB collection an easy 5 stars and recommended.

It’s nice and bright, plus you can control the color of the bulb. It screws into a standard light socket so it’s very simple to use. The Hubspace app is solid. It’s easy to use and setup your bulbs. It has scheduling as well which is great. Since it’s an LED bulb it will use a lot less power than the typical incandescent bulb. I definitely recommend it.

The 100-watt equivalent is perfect for my use. You can adjust the color brightness and hue. You are able to get the right brightness to match your application. I never was good at buying a specific light flavor or color temperature. With this type of bulb, you can adjust using the app. I use my bulb with Alexa and it works well and easy to setup. Very bright too.

Can this be used in as a front porch light etc. if it?s in the porch light enclosure?

I currently have one in mine. As long as your 2.4G wifi reaches out to where you want it it?s no different than a normal light bulb. Make sure your fixture will fit an A21 bulb, if not they also have a standard A19 60W bulb that should work just fine.
