[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New from Eglo is this track lighting assembly. With the LED’s at around the 3K mark which equals warm colors" (yellowish). And the Color Rendering Index (CRI)80is generally regarded as good these chrome and black shades are a first class addition. They are ready assembled and light enough (excuse the pun) at less than four pounds weight making for an easy installation. The adjustment of each head is independent of each other taking the illumination it emanates to wherever is required. After the base is connected to the junction box, the supplied Phillip screw heads make it easier to connect the track on the wall or the ceiling. There is little to no glare that emanates even when looked straight at and even they have remained on for several hours, they remain relatively cool to the touch. Dimable if so desired. They have a 6 month returnable warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eglo Mingo Black and Chrome track lighting kit looks better than I expected, it comes nicely packaged and with a sign of Fragile tape outside the box for careful handling. Once taken out the box, there is no assembly to it just the installation, it comes with instructions and it is fairly easy to do so. It also comes with the necessary screws and it can be installed on the wall or ceiling. The lights can be moved around to preference either to one spot or several. Best of all, it is dimmable and is bright as 2200 lumens while only using 20 watts. The warm white color does not come directly from the middle of the bulb, it comes from around and it reflects to the middle so that is very cool. I like the combination between the black, chrome accent and white shade. It looks modern and it is less than 4lbs for easy installation. It is a nice design, accent or additional light.

They will add to the atmosphere of any mancave or anywhere to show off art or Knick knacks. I cannot wait to install these at our house in Illinois, I am still in Florida doing roofing on condos. These look very nice and they will use much less power than our old fixtures and run much colder to touch. They have diffuser on lens so no glare.

The style is more modern than what i was hoping for in my farmhouse decor, I would much rather have the entire thing be black without the chrome accent. The LED is integrated so there are no light bulbs to replace, but if it's too bright it's dimmable. The part behind the light bulbs is made of plastic, it's not all metal. Overall is a good value.

A neat part of this that you might not think about is that the color of this light will provide a "true" cast for the application of make-up ... and, the LED's won't make anyone sweat while doing any of that. It also works for shaving, but the make-up thing get's more appreciation.

The light heads can be adjusted for most any direction. This light can be wired for with or without dimming. The installation for light was pretty basic white wire to white wire and black wire to black wire. I only needed a flat head and Phillips head screw driver. It is more of an accent light because it does not light up like a normal ceiling light in a room. I order to use in a small dining area in the kitchen. Not quite as much light as I expect but I am good. Actually more for accenting a wall for art etc than for home rooms lighting. In my small dining area it does work fairly well. for what I needed. If you need to light an entire room this is not the lighting you will need even thought it is beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fact that you can mount this on the ceiling or wall is a great plus. Installation was simple and quick. Its pre assembled so all that is required is putting the mounting plate onto the electric box and connecting the wires followed by attaching the light to mounting plate with the threaded screw caps. I mounted ours on the wall above a collage of family pictures. The LED lights give an even glow to the space. The ability to aim each individual light head is great. They are easy to adjust, but tight enough to not lose their position. The unit is well designed and constructed. The black finish of the wall canopy and track is complimented by the chrome face covers of the light heads. The lights are dimmable. Giving a complete sunlight to a soft candlelight glow. The Chrome portion is clean and vibrant. I'm very impressed with the overall value and quality of the fixture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eglo Mingo 30.12 inch Black/Chrome LED Track Lighting Kit with Black/Chrome Metal Shades made a vast improvement to my laundry room. My 10'x10' laundry room was equipped with a simple, single-bulb, under $15 ceiling light fixture with frosted globe. It puts out decent light but is in no way attractive and it can be difficult to see when poking through shelves trying to find something. When I saw this track lighting kit I thought it may be just what I needed: stylish and able to put the light where I want it. Installation was easy and straight forward. Removed the old fixture, mounted the plate to the junction box, attached the wiring, mounted the light fixture. Start to finish, with no assistance, took maybe 20 minutes. The wiring is easy and a call to an electrician completely unnecessary. I like that this fixture is dimmable and I may incorporate that feature later. With a flip of the switch I had nice bright light and I was able to point the four individual heads to illuminate the key areas of the room. Adjustment was easy and there was enough tension to keep the everything aimed right where I left it. There is little heat from the LEDs and the energy efficiency and long life make this fixture a win.
