Rated 3 out of 5 by from no size of hose on packaging I was totally confused when buying this hose. I needed a 10 foot section but wanted it to be a 5/8's inch diameter. No where on the packaging did it say what the diameter was. I asked an associate and his answer was that it was a 5/8 hose connection....that was not what I was looking for. He did not seem to understand the difference between the hose connection and the hose diameter. Now I am stuck with a 1/2" hose feeding all my 5/8" hoses..... just getting them on line after freezing weather... will see what my pressure is before I decide if I need to upgrade that hose. If you are looking at this hose, please be more astute then I was.

The spigot is low to the ground to release as much water as possible, but it's impossible to get a jug underneath the spigot. The six foot hose was a little small, and the regular 25 ft hoses are just too long. Like the 3 Bears story, this length was just right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought two of these hoses because they are true 1/2" interior diameter hoses suitable for 1/2" ... I bought two of these hoses because they are true 1/2" interior diameter hoses suitable for 1/2" barb & clamp connections, such as are on small pressure pumps and tanks used for irrigation (and RVs and large boats, etc). I cut one up to make these pump connections, using the quality ends as the main in and out connections for my mounted pump and pressure tank rig. The hose has high pressure ratings, stays firm and is of better quality while being cheaper than buying good 1/2" hose by the foot. These hoses have hardy 3/4" brass connectors and are double female BUT have the male x male connector tethered on one end as well. Nice when you want to do a switch-around. I cut the other hose I bought in half to make interconnects with my irrigation rain barrels by adding third-party connectors to each end. This is probably the most versatile 10' hose around. I would/will buy it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another junk product - aluminum fittings Aluminum fittings anodized to look like brass. Junk. Do not buy. Aluminum corrodes in water and especially with dissimilar metals (like Aluminum and brass). It will corrode onto your other fittings and be impossible to remove.

Also liked that it would not bend end of hose attached to my hose reel.

Yes. 1/2 at the front end will only slightly affect volume of water to rest of hose. Hardly noticeable.

Does this hose have brass fittings or will the fittings fuse with a brass spigot?

The manufacturer states these are Aluminum fittings so do not attach to any brass hose bib for very long, or put something plastic between like a plastic shutoff valve or splitter.

What nozzle would fit this the best? or can you attach any kind?

I am using it as an extension hose between my outdoor faucet and my hose reel which is attached to my wall about 20feet from the faucet. It has standard hose fittings so any standard nozzle would work. If you have Gardena nozzles, there are adaptors you can use to connect this hose to these nozzles.

Sometimes the gasket in the female hose connection is missing. This would cause leakage due to a poor seal with the male end of whatever you connect it to.
