Rated 2 out of 5 by from A mind of its own As another reviewer found, the hose is difficult to place in other than a straight line. I used rocks to try and curve its shape. I found the information about the two sides difficult to achieve, one being a soaker hose and the other a sprinkler. The hose length at the beginning gave a different intensity of sprinkling than the final segment. The hose material was stiff and difficult to work with. I would definitely not recommend product in fact I hope to return it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Very Good I bought three of these to water my garden. Two of them started to leak immediately. When it's packaged and rolled up tight the plastic hose is too brittle and it cracks so the water comes gushing out when it's on. Avoid unless you want a mess.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent hole sizes I bought 4 hoses as a temporary replacement for a damaged underground system. 3 work well, but one has holes that are much larger resulting in most of the water spraying out of 1 hose. If you are going to connect multiple hoses, this is a problem. Otherwise a nice quality product.

Terribly weak in terms of the throw -- the distance it comes out of the holes. Also terribly spotty in terms of coverage inside the feeble throw area. My old, cheapie plastic roll out hose is VASTLY superior. This hose is annoying and expensive garbage.

However the plastic is cheap hard material so it doesn't roll up well and is subject to warping and kinks so you have to bend it back every time you roll it up.

approximately how far or how high doe this hose sprinkle?

The Sprinkler hose can be adjusted from a very small pattern of inches to its maximum range by closing or opening the water feed at the connection. The expected width of the spray at the highest setting is fully dependent on the available water source pressure and available water flow in GPM (gallons per minute). We see that in the lower pressure ranges for residential water systems of around 25 PSI the spray is approx. 5ft to either side of the hose on a calm day. On system of 50 PSI the width goes to approximately 7 to 8 ft and at the higher ranges of 100 PSI the spray width can reach up to 10 to 12 FT. It should ne noted that due to the fine water streams coming from the hose it is very susceptable to wind, so depending on how the wind crosses the hose the water spray may only go to one side. The height of the spray at the highest pressure (100 PSI) reaches approx 7 ft. It is always a good idea to test the system in an open area such as a driveway to get a feel for your specific application and conditions before installing into the garden or watering place.
