Rated 1 out of 5 by from THIS IS NOT A STORM DOOR This is not sealed from the weather in any way. It is merely a sheet of particleboard with a sheet of aluminum on the front and several pieces on the inside. The edge trim does nothing to seal out water. The windows overlap with the outside window at the bottom so the water WILL flow between them. The wondow frame may or may not be sealed, if not water WILL flow around it and soak the particleboard. I took the edge trim off the door and sealed all edges and the bottom. I cut a dog door into the bottom panel and sealed all those raw edges. I was not able to remove the window frame except for some interior trom strips. I filled those gaps with caulk. The frame may be sealed to the exterior of the door. However, the bottom of the window frame is NOT sealed at all. It is thin and can easily be bent up to see the raw particleboard. I filled that gap with caulk from the inside as much as possible. If this door is exposed to rain it will be another on the list of failed junk. My porch is completely covered so I dont expect any problems. Besides the backwards gap in the windows they suffer from another serious problem. They cannot be locked closed. No mattet which window you choose to be top or bottom it can be raised open from the outside. The window you choose for the top will lock in the up position. The latches are easiest to use if the outside window is at the bottom, but that will allow rain to gush in. Both of them can be raised without touching the tabs that hold them up. That is why they cant be locked closed. I’m going to fabricate a latch that will prevent the bottom window from being raised from the fully closed position. I would never recommend this door to a customer and i will not recommend it to anyone else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Door length can be customized. I was able to cut this door for a shorter fit with a power saw. The lock assembly requires 3 holes to be drilled. The workers in the store kept on telling me that everything was pre-drilled so I was concerned about the lock location.

In magnet screen doors, do you carry any that measure 36 x 96? And is the customer advised to add 1 or 2 inches to this when ordering?

Asked by: Mary
Thank you for your inquiry. If you are referring to the LuminAire Retractable Screen Door, it is only available in adjustable widths of 32 – 36 inches (for single screen door), 72 inches (double screen door) and heights of 78, 80 and 84 inches. You may check this link for additional information about the LuminAire™ Retractable Screen Door, https://www.andersenluminaire.com/products/. In installing this product, please keep in mind that even though this door would have to be surface mounted to the exterior woodtrim, the measurement being referred to when ordering one is the doorway opening itself. - Joseph

Does this door come with a hydrolic opener and a stop chain?

Asked by: Angela
Thank you for your question. An EMCO 200 Series uses a pneumatic (compressed air, not oil) closer. We apologize, however, we do not have wind chain. Please note that we do not recommend placing a wind chain on the door. In case a replacement is needed, please contact our Solution Center at 1-844-813-6664. Can this door be cut down to fit 79.5 inches x 31.5 inches?

Asked by: Helen
Thank you for your question. We apologize but modifying the storm door will void its warranty. However, custom sizes are available for EMCO 200. Kindly contact your local Home Depot and they will be glad to assist you ordering the right size. You might also want to modify your opening so a standard 32 inch x 80 inch size will fit. Please refer to our rough opening requirements here: https://www.stormdoors.com/measure/ - Charmaine

what is the assembled width? I want to make sure it will fit the opening? My external door is 32 inches wide. The info on the website is confusing! thanks.

Asked by: Jellyfish
Thank you for your question. We are sorry for the inconvenience that you experienced. A standard 32 inch door exactly measures 31 1/8 inches. This is made to exactly fit a 32 inch wide opening. - Joseph
