Rated 1 out of 5 by from CAUTION -- UNABLE TO COMPLETE JOB! -- I bought 5 boxes of tiles and installed them in a shower and needed one more box to complete the job. I ordered the same product again. The cardboard box the tiles came in had changed from the first 5 boxes in that there was no plastic straps and the box had a view window. The colour did not match and the tiles felt lighter and had a different backside and were obviously not the original product I purchased! I returned them and ordered the product again and got the same substitute product! My project has been stalled for 8 weeks now and I have little hope of getting another box of the original tiles. This is not the case of different tile runs having a slightly different colour, these ARE DIFFERENT TILES!!!

I would need some advise on the type of grout which would go with these tiles. I will be installing them in the kitchen. I am planning to install with 1/8 inch spacing.

Thank you for your question Rectified tiles if straight stacked can be installed with a 1/16" grout joint. If using a brick / offset pattern, use the 1/8" grout joint with no more than a 1/3 offset to avoid lippage issues. Your size of grout joint will determine what type of grout to use, as unsanded grout packs better into smaller joints, but is not strong enough for larger joints,. Check the grout instructions to see the size threshold they recommend. As for grout color, a color similar to the tile will create a uniform look, while a contrasting color will draw your eye to the grout lines / frames first. It will also highlight any uneven grout joints, so if installing this yourself or are not using a professional tile installer, this is also something you might want to consider, as a color similar to the color of the tile will be more forgiving for a less experienced installer.
