Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Not all tiles were of equal length. This caused uneven grout lines. Each tile had a sticker on the back of the tile that required removal or it would show through after installation. We had 200 tiles. Needless to say we returned this product on the advice of our contractor. This product is manufactured in China. We are grateful that Home Depot accepted the return and refunded the full cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The white looks really nice.... My Biggest Challenge was finding closed boxes of this product... for some reason most Home Depots had their stocks opened and stacked as result they were all scratched. Overall, looks really amazing and elegant.... nothing flashy but very classy... I bought small Italian designed glass tile as an accent strip which really brings out the entire backsplash on dark counter and cabinet..... Before installing the tiles.... I wired an LED Strip light which looks fabulous even without valence.... all the wires were hidden behind the tile giving it a very clean look...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shipping nightmare I ordered the tile late May early June and I finally received the product about 6 weeks later. I understand the product was sitting on a warehouse floor in Mississauga for the entire time but Home Depot has to be responsible for the product not arriving in NL. When I finally received the product from Day and Ross shipping company there were four cases completely broken and unable to use. I brought the broken tile to the store to salvage any pieces that I could and the gentleman gave me a discount on broken pieces. The level of frustration for the wait time and not getting straight answers for weeks is just not acceptable. I am not sure why the product was shipped from Mississauga as there was ample product in the St. John, NB store. I did eventually purchase more tile and the actual tile looks amazing. However, the customer service from Home Depot was to say the least sub par.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but painful This tile does look amazing after installation, however the actual process of installing is painful. Glass tile is incredibly difficult to cut without chipping, cracking or breaking. If you are willing to really work for the end result, pay for a lot of extra waste and/or pay a contractor a huge sum of money to install then it is perfect. For those looking for a DIY project, I do not recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good in the box Hard to cut and the backing chipped easily leaving the grout visible through the tile. Felt the cost meant it was a premium tile. As a DIY guy these are made for a professional installer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All different sizes All these tiles are different sizes and had a significant bow in them which made it basically impossible to line up the grout lines. I wish I would have noticed before I started the backsplash so I could return them but only noticed the size problems half way through the project so had to use them to finish. Don’t bother with these, there are better tiles with the same look don’t make the same mistake I did

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soft glass - Scratches easily I have literally grouted hundreds of times. We used Kiesel grout and a fairly new grout tool. New sponges, and the glass tiles are full of fine scratches.

What is the recommended adhesive and grout used with this glass tile as a kitchen backsplash Also any suggestions on tooling for cutting the glass tile would be great

Asked by: mick
Use typical adhesive that you woulď for a subway tile. However make sure you paint the wall according to the color that you would like to come through as it will bleed through a glass tile. I painted mine white. Also make sure when making cuts the back of the tile faces you. Having the front face you will show the irregular cut.
