Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful floor. Really nice, and inexpensive tile. The weathered/rustic look helps disguise the filth that an army of little boys leave behind. Great choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like it. Used as the "old barn wood look" for wainscoting the wall around shower, sink, toilet in our cabin. Applied horizontal direction. Aged wood look also makes for a nice frame around window and medicine cabinet. Very small bathroom. Turned out very nice. First time I tried tiling, not that difficult with google.

Hi... I am using this tile for a backsplash in my Farmhouse style kitchen.. Do I need to put a sealant on the tile before installing? If I do, will it change the color of the tile?

Asked by: Dee Dee
Porcelain tile does not need to be sealed. It will not take a sealer as it will not be absorbed, and only sit on the surface of the tile, and hold dirt. So there is no need to seal porcelain glazed tiles - it will actually have the opposite effect.

When installing this tile in a kitchen and living room area can 1/16" wide grout be used.

Asked by: Robert
I installed this as a kitchen backsplash using 1/16" tile spacers and found it consistent enough to get a good result. Note however, that because the edges are beveled you will end up with a grout line closer to 1/8".

Is this tile good for shower/ tub surround?

Asked by: Nancy
Yes, this tile can be used in this type if installation. Note that it still requires thinset along the entire length of the tile and a grout joint when installing next to adjacent pieces of 1/8".

Wondering what colour grout would be best for this tile? Ordering for pickup and hard to pick grout when dont have tile

Asked by: GEB2019
It’s best to match the colour of the tile as closely as possible for a uniform look. However, grout joint colour is a personal preference. Call your local store to see if you can borrow or purchase a set of the sample grout colour sticks normally available in store for grout colour choices. Or search sites like Pinterest to see installations that specify the grout colour used.

We are looking at installing this inside our shower. Is there risk of water damage or the finish wearing off?

Asked by: Jesse
Porcelain tile is suitable to be used in a shower. I suspect this is being used on a wall, as the size of the tile would be difficult to produce the required slope over a small distance. If for a floor, check with your contractor regarding proper slope angle.
