Best part is you really can’t see it, just dulled the gloss on my oak stairs a little. Actually prefer the look now. My Golden retriever now a grandma at 13.5 years old had a stroke Christmas eve. Stuffed an aspirin down her throat and she made it through. She took a couple of days to be able to walk again with stability but with a daily does aspirin I give her now she recovered :) But now the issue although almost fully recovered she kept slipping on the hardwood stairs and I had to carry her. Or the last thing I needed her doing was falling down and hitting her head. Found this stuff put it on and the stairs and my landing half way worked like wonders for her. Truthfully safer for us as well. One can did the landing the stairs and a small area at the top and bottom on the hardwood. 9 foot floor on the main level. In short I would totally recommend this to anyone at least she can live with dignity for a few more months and if really lucky a year or two. My kids grew up with her and love her to beyond, just another one of the family. Also kind of heavy to care up and down the stairs so my back thanks Rust-Oleum for this product as does miss 4 on the floor and one still waging in the air, Misty!

Can I use it to slippery golf club grip?

Hi Marky, Our Rust-Oleum Anti-Slip Resistant Coating is for ceramic, metal, concrete, and wood. We have not tested it on leather or rubber and do not recommend it for this application.

Can it b used on hard plastic?

Hi Shawna, Our Anti-Slip can be applied on some plastics. However, some plastics made of polyethylene are manufactured in a way that may hinder maximum paint adhesion. It's always best to test on a small area first. For prep, remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with a commercial detergent or other suitable cleaner. Mold and mildew must be cleaned with a chlorinated cleaner or bleach solution. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry.

I would like to apply this to my front exterior steps. They are pressure treated wood. Do they need to be completely dry before applying? We are in Vancouver and they may not be completely dry until spring. But we need this to be applied before spring

We used ours at the cottage on Wooden steps and the product works great. Coating has lasted more than two years so far, it is colourless and doesn't change the look of the cedar. Very please with it as the added grip is really needed for our location/set-up WE were able to get our stairs fairly dry so we had good adhesion, so can't say about Vancouver weather On the plus side , no issue re-applying it again the spring if you need a second coat ........However I Strongly recommend this product

Can it be put on expoxy-coated floor to resist slipperiness from wet and snow?

Never tried it on expoxy-coated floor but I think it should work. It sprays a thin layer of grit and its non- slip. I used it on stained wood stairs outdoors.

It can. Keep in mind that if anything is dragged on it will mark easy. And high traffic areas may wear faster and show. It works extremely well for gripping though

I have a leg press machine but find that my shoes slip on the textured steel foot plate. Would this anti slip spray help with traction on this?

Hi AGRD, Yes, this would be a great application for our Anti-Slip spray. Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with an appropriate cleaner. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Previously coated surfaces must be sound and in good condition. Smooth, hard, or glossy finishes should be scarified by sanding to create a surface profile. Removal of old paint by sanding, scraping or other means may generate dust or fumes that contain lead. And remember, it's always best to test on a small area first.
