We cut it in half, put on two end caps and filled it with ice cream. 4 flavors, Chocolate toppings,whipped cream, cherries, etc. Approx 60 scoops. It took about 15 minutes for our 9 grandkids (all under 10) to polish it off!

The only issue I had was joining the pieces together, they don't quite fit right, so without adding some caulk/sealant they will leak a little. Otherwise perfect product for what I needed and used it for.

What is the trick to make ends seal and not leak water?

If you put a little soap on the part it will make it easier to slip on. If it slips on ok and still leaks look at seal to make sure it is not torn. If it is return to store and get another one.

I have a shed with no drip edge, just a one inch overhang of the shingles. If this gutter is installed on the facia will the one inch overhang be enough for the water to get into the gutter? I can't install drip edge because of the way the shed was built, they nailed the roofing shingles down along the edge.

Gutters need an overhang of the roofline to work correctly. I do not think 1" will be enough. YOu may have water going behind gutter.

Anyone have any idea how these would hold up in the Phoenix sun? Usually anything plastic drys out in a couple summers.

We live in Phoenix and had these gutters on the west side of our house for 7 years before we decided to replace them. They bowed a bit by then but still worked.
