Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cabinet Maker approved I used to work in a cabinet shop and have also built many custom kitchen, bathroom and commercial cabinets as part of my home renovation business, some out of melamine some out of plywood. Over the years I have used these eurostyle cabinets to build complete kitchens with excellent results. The money you save using these cabinets as opposed to custom cabinets is huge. Sometimes I buy just the boxes and have the doors custom made with awesome results. I can always create a custom size but cutting a larger cabinet down to what I need and screwing the side on instead of using the cams and dowels. Very handy, but not practical for the average joe. I have run into minor issues like pins not lining up 100% but not bad enough that it was an issue. If you're looking for a cabinet that you can drop out of a moving pick up truck and still have it in one piece then you need to spend top dollar and have custom cabinets made out of 3/4" plywood. On the other hand if you want a decent solid cabinet made from 3/4" melamine that will hold up just fine to everyday use for years to come, WHEN BUILT AND INSTALLED PROPERLY, then don't be afraid to buy these cabinets. I installed these in our own kitchen and my wife and I are very happy with them. If you're not good with tools and don't tighten the cams properly then your cabinet will likely be loose and could come apart. If your cabinet is loose then the cams are not tightened enough. Any kitchen cabinet should be fastened to the wall and even a loose cabinet will feel more solid when screwed to a wall. As far as the design of any kitchen cabinet goes, the floor of the cabinet ALWAYS goes between the sides. I have never seen a cabinet break when built this way and screwed to a wall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware!! These cabinets are complete pieces of junk. We purchased one of these cabinets approx 6 months ago. Upon assembly i was leery of the build quality.. Recently I leaned up against the counter and the entire cabinet almost imploded upon itself. The bottom shelf which supports the legs completely broke apart which in turn caused the sides of the cabinet to break loose from the both the base and upper portion. The entire cabinet almost fell forward and was only prevented from doing so by the doors which were open and held it up. I went to home depot and reluctantly purchased the exact same cabinet as the doors and hardware were still good on the old set. While assembling the new cabinet it became painfully obvious why the old cabinet failed.. All materials in this cabinet are completely substandard and made of the cheapest possible quality. Fully assembled the cabinet felt so rickety that i actually went back to home depot and purchased 8 metal corner reinforcements brackets so i could securely fasten the walls to the floor and ceiling portion of the cabinet and give the unit some semblance of rigidity. After i finished reinforcing the cabinet I attempted to slide the cabinet in to it's final resting spot in my kitchen and upon doing so 2 of the cheap plastic legs completely broke in half. the cause of the broken legs can only be chalked up to the completely inferior material used in the manufacturing process. So I had to make a 3rd trip to home depot to purchase some new and much sturdier legs. What should have been about a 1hr assembly project turned in to a 6 hour affair with 2 extra trips to home depot and extra costs incurred. I could have build a sturdier cabinet using popsicle sticks and rice paper. This product has absolutely no redeeming qualities and i'm genuinely surprised the Home Depot backs this product. Also worth noting is that the toe/kick plate is not included (sold separately) So if you're in the market for a new base cabinet, do yourself a favor and skip on this unit. Spend the extra money and buy a quality cabinet, your money will be better spent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Packaging and Quality I purchased three of these units, had to go back two times to get the proper style due to incorrect packaging - box said white, contents were brown melamine, also one door was the wrong style. One set of legs had a broken leg in it. On another unit, the legs were missing, had to go back for those as well. Installing the back of the cabinet was a problem too - two of the units had a groove for the 1/8" backing but the last one required nailing it onto the back on four sides (nailing replaced two cross members to keep the unit square - saved money in the manufacturing, I guess!). Plus the last cabinet was less sturdy. The alignment pins weren't always in the right place, several of them broke with hardly any force. I've installed two sets of these cabinets but will not be purchasing Eurostyle again - it's a frustrating process! The only redeeming factor in my experience was that the returns desk people were courteous & helpful with getting me the right parts.
