Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor lifespan I bought this pump 6 months ago, it failed over the weekend and all I could get as a replacement was the same model. I called the support number this morning and the lady had a ton of attitude, asking if I had inspected the impellor, when I said I had cleaned the pump off and looked but did not tear the pump apart, she suggested it could have rocks in it. The pump is in a plastic waste basin, I do not have rocks going through my plumbing system. The pump overheated and burnt. Not impressed with the support or the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive Piece of Junk Worked really well for almost 10 months and then suddenly died. No warnings before it backed up. Thankfully I had water detectors which alerted me before it became a huge problem. The plumber who installed it couldn't figure out what was wrong so he replaced it with a pump from a different manufacturer. The new pump has been working flawlessly for over 2 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Pump Good powerful suction action, drained an overflowing 200 litre tank via a 2” pipe in less than 3 seconds

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT HEAVY Duty These pumps seem to know when the warranty is up - packed it in four months after warranty expired. This was in an easy load placement- 99% water -- "Heavy Duty" should have lasted a whole lot longer than this piece of junk. Won't be shopping at Home Depot for a replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t buy this Currently in the middle of an emergency replacement job after just 11months because the attached float switch is a piece of garbage. Buy something and save yourself the stress

Any idea why the pump kicks in only for a second before stopping? With the snow melting, it's been going off every ~40 seconds or so, only pumping out splashes at a time. When I lift the arm up with my finger, it works properly...

Asked by: Keanu
This pump is a very high flow with a short stroke float sensor. That’s how it’s designed

I bought the Everbilt 6/10 sewage pump. It has a threaded hole in the top of the unit about 1/8th in diameter. It looks like a screw is missing there. I don't want to submerge it until I find out what is missing or not. Thanks.

Asked by: Terry
Terry, thank you for your question. Yes, you are perfectly fine to submerge this pump. That hole is an alternate float switch tethering point. It allows you to mount the cord of your float switch in another place. If you need anything else, please feel free to contact our customer service at 844-883-1872. Regards, Everbilt Customer Service.
