Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible pump with useless warranty Bought this pump because home Depot staff recommended it to me. 3 year warranty sir.... Well my less than one year old pump died today , and guess what you can't bring it to home Depot for help. I was told I had to ship it to everbilt at my expense and wait a few weeks for the claim to be approved or more than likely denied I will never buy another everbilt product and will go see what home depot's competitors have to offer. I can't be without a sump pump while everbilt decides on warranty Try and pick a product with a better warranty or over the counter warranty Do not buy everbilt

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flooded my house. Do not buy this item! I bought this less than 6 months ago. Everything was great about this sump. It was strong, quiet and cast iron. I assumed that it meant it was a great product. Especially since the price was quite a bit more expensive than most 1/2 hp sumps at Home Depot. However, in three days we got 3 inches of rain. and to my surprise, my house got an alarm that it was flooding in the basement. I ran downstairs and yep. It flooded. I opened my sump lid and it was fully submerged and running but not pumping. I’ve noticed since the rain storm, that the sump will work 99/100 times. But for a sump pump that isn’t good enough. especially a brand new one. Do not buy this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Quiet Waterfront home with the levels fluctuating in the spring so a dependable pump is a must. The specifications should be able to handle the water although we'll see when the water comes pouring in from high levels. This pump is very quiet. 3 Year warranty is a big plus. I'd give it 5 stars but it's too early for the tough goodness test.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These Sump Pumps aren't very good We moved into our new home in September 2020 and in October the sump pump failed and needed to be replaced. So I bought a better pump at home depot 1/3hp or so I thought and within 30 days it failed. This is what brings us to our first everbilt 1/2hp we go away in the winter and need reliability so by the fall 2021 when the borders reopened we planned our trip but first I bought a second pump (a backup in case something happened while we were away) of course the pump failed and our son came over and replaced it. When I got home I decided that I would install a second pump so that if one fails the other would kick in being installed a little higher in the pit. When I tried to return it to the store they wouldn't accept it, finally, because I had been a long-time customer they exchanged it but said that was it no more warranty on the replacement pump. Now I have 2 of these pumps in my sump pit and once again 6 months later the main pump fails again, pump number 2 kicks in I call the 800 number they give me a return number I go to the store they exchange it no problem all is good. The second pump has had a total of 6 pumps and stopped working but now this is the pump that they gave me and said no more warranty. Not impressed with Everbilt pumps and I have to say not impressed with how Home Depot has handled this whole situation. I guess now I find a better pump somewhere else

Can I change the vertical float switch on this pump for a tether float switch such as Model # HDCTFPG | Store SKU # 1001053741?

Asked by: RM99
This is not an Everbilt product that is manufactured by Camco Manufacturing, therefore, I am unable to answer this question. Please contact Home Depot directly. Thank you.

When looking at specs for these pumps, what is difference between "item width" and "assembled width". I need a submersible pump that can fit down a 8"pipe and this one may do it - depending on which measurement I use...Everbilt Model # ECD50V-HDC_V2log

Asked by: Kparish
Kparish, The pump is actually 9.84" at its widest point. It will not fit in an 8" pipe. Thanks, Everbilt Customer Service
