Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect and strong shelving brackets I needed shelving brackets with something to hold rods for my craft room and this was perfect. They seem pretty strong and look great on my wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good & Strong Solid product. I used this in a bedroom closet. Clean, strong and work well with the 96-inch Heavy Duty Closet Rod in White. You need to align the brackets up so the rod fits in or it will pop out, and also run the rod from wall to wall or you will need to put a small screw in so it does not slide and the bracket allows movement. I screwed these brackets to the studs and after a month of holding clothes are holding well. I put wood shelves on the top of them and this is working well. If I needed more I would buy these again.

What is the appropriate size of screw and drywall anchor needed to install it? The one delivered to me does not have the necessary drywall anchor kit to install it?

Asked by: SR1999
SR1999 - To effectively support any significant weight, these brackets must be installed into wall studs. With that said, to take advantage of the 1000lb per pair load rating, we would recommend either a #14 x 2.00 or a ¼” x 2.00 lag. A longer screw/lag is acceptable, but the 2” length would be a minimum length recommendation.

How far apart can these brackets be? How many would I need to go completely across a 23 foot wall

Asked by: Didit
I’m not really sure as my wall was only a 6 ft span so I used just 1 in the centre (at 3 ft).  I would guess 3 should be fine as long as you can hit studs with that spacing.

Why doesn’t the heavy duty pole fit into the heavy duty bracket?

Asked by: Ramona
As long as the pole is 1 1/4 - 1 5/16” diameter they just snap into the bracket with a little pressure.
