Polyester has the least stretch and best abrasion resistance as compared to nylon and polypropylene, though it cannot absorb shock loads as efficiently. It holds knots well and does not absorb water, which keeps its weight down when wet. It also has excellent ultraviolet (UV) light resistance, making it popular for extended outdoor use including for clotheslines, flagpole rope and boating. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Working Load of 150 lb. This 3/8 in rope measures 50 ft in length.

Everbilt 1/16 inch Aluminum Sleeves Ferrules - 10-Piece

EVERBILT Aluminum Sleeves are designed for forming an eye or loop on wire rope. Sleeves are fastened by using a Swaging Tool. Made of aluminum, so they are soft enough to be crimped, but still provide ample strength and corrosion resistance. When properly applied, aluminum sleeves develop the same breaking strength as the cable they are crimped onto. Use the same size sleeve as wire rope. If used on plastic coated cable, remove the coating from the assembly area before swaging.
