Seems to made out of solid materials and definitely has some heft to it. It is rated at 300 lbs when using 4 of them is definitely overkill for my project. Saw weighs about 650 so I'm able to support double the weight with 4 of these. One thing lacking is a locking feature of the wheel.

Very well constructed of excellent materials - sturdy heavy gauge steel frame, quiet durable thermoplastic urethane treads and sturdy steel axle (11/32" diameter) with a keyed head - see photo. The plastic hubs have a simple bore and neither a metal sleeve nor ball bearing. The hub width is 1 5/8". The axle uses a lock nut and a keyed head to keep it secured. The frame has a key slot to keep the axle from rotating - see photo.

We mounted our art cabinet on these casters—it’s an industrial-strength unit from a school. Made of 1” particle board, and loaded with reams and reams and reams of paper, cardstock, note cards, books, etc. I’m pleased with this caster and highly recommend it.

I picked up the 4 inch Rigid Caster to finish out a rolling work bench project. Though the other wheels are of a different brand, the Rigid Caster seems to a bit more heavy duty. Nice thick plate to attach to the legs of the work bench, I don't see this one ever breaking. The barn floor is concrete but not all that smooth, however the Rigid Caster seems to roll well, even with tools and parts on the roll around work bench. Well worth the money.

I have a couple swivel and a couple rigid wheels on a homemade platform for some shop equipment that needs to be moved around. They did install quickly and do seem extremely strong and "Rigid". There is NO rollover to the side feeling that comes with cheap wheels. The TPU wheels are great, strong and quiet. Time will tell if they hold up but I think they will. I have but positives to say so gave them a 5 out of 5.

You can attach these casters to your projects in the garage and wheel carts, storage pieces, or whatever you want to design around without fear of having any issues. It supports the weight of just about anything you'd put in a cabinet or cart, and you could even use it to support a person if you want to make your own dolly, or auto creeper I suppose.

There is some play where the bolt goes through and I suspect these are plastic - no metal bearing on the inside. Probably fine for limited use, but for heavy, everyday use, I would look for something better. The other odd thing is that the 250# rated caster does not have a locking nut, while this one does.
