Wire rope clips are designed to couple together two lengths of wire rope or to form an eye or loop. The two layers of wire rope are placed in the U-bolt and clamped into place for a tight connection. Wire rope thimbles are used to make loops in wire rope. Once the loop is in place, the inside of the thimble will protect the cable from abrasion. If used on PVC-coated cable, remove the coating from the assembly area before swaging. Made from steel with a zinc-plated finish for a bright, attractive finish with moderate corrosion resistance. Designed for use on 5/16 in cables. Item is sold per pack of 2.
