Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great It worked super well actually. In a moment of exhaustion I used silicon on baseboards instead of baseboard paintable caulk. This product made it easy to strip and start over. The face of an olfa is the perfect flat edge to scrape with once it’s softened.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very effective The spray bottle didn't work at all, wouldn't spray. I applied it by soaking a cleaning sponge with the green scrubbing side. It made the silicone somewhat gooey but after thoroughly scraping the caulking and leaving the product to soak for hours it didn't completely loosen the final layer for removal. Cleanup was a pain.

Depending on how much caulk you have to remove, you may need to leave it soaked for longer; at least for an hour. In my case I had a very thick layer of caulking around the shower base. I sprayed it liberally and left it soak overnight. Be mindful it has a pleasant but very strong odour. I had my windows left opened overnight. The spray mechanism in the bottle didn’t work for me at first, but after a few dozen squeezes it finally started to spray.

I have an acrylic shower base by Mirolin. I would like to know if this product will be harmful to the acrylic?

This product can be used safely on acrylic showers however we recommend using a plastic scraper and kitchen grade scrubbing tools to prevent damage during removal project. Allow the product to do the work for you so less scrubbing and scrapping is required.

Is it paint safe?

Is this product safe to use on a rubber RV roof?

While this product has not been specifically tested on RV roofs, we suggest testing it on a small, inconspicuous area first. Apply a small amount, let it sit for the directed time, and check for any adverse effects after 24 hours. If the test area looks good, you should be okay to use it on a larger section.
