LedgerLOK is a code-compliant structural wood screw engineered to fasten a deck ledger board to the rim joist of a house with no predrilling. LedgerLOK replaces lag screws and through-bolts, has been coated with a proprietary three-step coating process that protects against corrosion (even in pressure treated wood) and is ACQ approved. The built-in washer head eliminates the need for an additional washer, saving time and money. The large hex-head allows for greater bit engagement, reducing cam-out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Those are REALLY strong for deck purposes I fixed my new trex railing's posts to my brand new trex deck using standard framing screws but it wasnt solid enough to my liking. Then I saw these and gave them a shot. The price made me hesitate but considering what those railings costs, I thought it was a necessary evil. I used an oscilating tool and pierced my deck so my post can slide it and fixed my post inside the deck frame using these screws. The posts are as solid as a rock and will not move even with considerable strenght. Besides, the threading makes the screws go it without hesitation and without any kind of slippage or stripping, even at ackward angles. I will use those from now on on a multitude of usages. You will not be disapointed.
