Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meets my needs. More than enough to charge my iPhones, iPads, camera batteries, laptop, and while batteries at the same time. I’d like the generator to be a bit quieter but it’s not too noisy either.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good shipping times considering the time of year generator looks great, but sounds like something is loose in the rewind area when it is running. only time will tell with the reliability of it. price was right

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to start I keep a can of starter fluid right next to my generator because that's what I usually need to get it going. (and, yes , I check oil level etc. before starting) The generator often stalls when I use it with a power tool such as a drill ( about 350W ). I'm hoping this is just a bit of a traumatic break-in period and that it will become more reliable in the future (still on my first tank of gas). Fingers crossed...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Have had this generator for a little long than a month. Did the five hour break-in without any problems. Took it camping and had no problems starting and continuous ran it for 45 and 1 1/2 minute stints. The only thing I noticed was the rubber vibration feet are not tall enough and frame sits on the floor. Gas cap is old school vented straight to atmosphere (under fill tank than taking it to the fill line). Of these two things I'll be upgrading both this winter. I bought this unit on a sale and its wattage rating, and is a great value buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very reliable backup generator The generator is very reliable when placed on even surface. Noise is a little loud but acceptable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent basic unit I bought this generator a week AFTER I had a flooded basement due to heavy rain and a 28 hour power outage which caused the sump pump to not work. I've tested it once so far.At first I couldn't get it to start up. Turns out the oil chamber is very sensitive to oil level, and the machine won't start unless the oil is right up near the top of the chamber. After I added a bit more oil, it started OK. It's pretty loud, but I guess all generators re loud. The output is sufficient to run my sump pump plus a couple of lights, but not much else. But that's OK, it is the sump pump that I need it for. Also, the unit isn't too heavy for one person to lug around (more powerful generators are often too heavy to be able to lift into the back of a truck!) I'll know more about this unit if I ever actually have to use it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look's So far so good! Only at the long therms we will see. It only has 24hours on it! The generator does work good but loud . As loud as my champion 4000w open frame dual fuel generator! Both Tested with a decibel reader. 84 dB at 15' with a 500 w load. Gas wise, very economic! The 10 hours is realistic. Hard to start , takes many pulls ( 5 to 6) before running. Runs smoothly. Picks up load quickly, voltage stable. I suspect a faulty bearing on mine, I guess I'll be giving them a call!

How quiet is this generator? I camp, and I don't want to disturb my fellow campers. Honda has the best one for quiet, but, it is very expensive.

Asked by: Donny
62 to 63 DB. You may want to look at our 3000 watt inverter that is USDA approved 54 to 56 db

Is this strong enough to run a stand up freezer and full size fridge as well as charge a phone during a power outage?

Asked by: Jackie 27
This model has 1200 running watt, it may struggle running the appliances you mentioned, may be best to move up to an inverter W03081 model. It really depends on the wattage you need a quick formula will help watts=voltsXamps
