Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pruners Durable pruners, and comfortable grip! Low price, good quality

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh These pruners do not live up to the Fiskars name, they twisted within the first few uses. And are unable to cut through anything bigger than the thickness of a finger

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great value, with one easily fixable flaw I've had a pair of these for 3 years now and they have stood up to some very hard use -- I routinely use both hands to cut branches 1.5" thick with these, twice the rated capacity. I have thousands of trees and shrubs on my acreage and have spent full days using these pruners. The handles are as comfortable as you could reasonably expect. The blade is also easily removable for sharpening, and this is the cause of the negative reviews. The pruners have a toothed wheel on the nut that holds them together; a toothed tab held by another screw locks the nut into place. The screw that holds the locking tab in place was not fully tightened when I bought the pruners, which if left as is would have let the pivot nut come loose. Not a problem for me as I always check the fasteners on everything I buy -- this is far from the only product that has ever shipped with a loose screw. One drop of Loctite and 10 seconds with a screwdriver later, and I have a pruner with solidity and performance far, far beyond its price range.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Pruner I thought I was buying the "world class" Fiskar garden pruner but after 1 hour of garden work, the pruner literally fell apart. First the pruner blades became misaligned and then the spring action on the cut failed entirely. Finally, the locking mechanism is failed. This product is a big disappointment and should not be carrying the Fiskar's brand name. I guess at $10 the old saying is true - "you get what you pay for".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spring fell off Cheaply made product. The screws became loose easily which caused the lock to move around and jam up during operation. Went to use them today and found out that the spring had fallen off, rendering the tool completely useless. New home owner that would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easy to break These things are poorly constructed and break easily. The way they are designed a simple tiny rivet breaks and renders the whole thing unusable. Spend the money on the better pair.
