Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work at all I used this to seal pond liners together. One season later I am ripping up all my rock work to find this stuff flaking and peeling off everywhere. I am really disappointed and frustrated with this.

I have a cinder block wall in my basement. Will this keep moisture out and mold from forming if I paint the interior of wall. How many coats would it require? Can this also be used on a cement porch to keep water out. Does it have a non slip finish?

Asked by: Jinx 13
Wouldn't use it to walk on. Goes flat and don't think it would last. Pretty expensive application for block walls. Just saying.

Can I install porcelain tiles using tile adhesive on flex seal painted play-wood?

Asked by: Ben2024
Thank you for your question about installing porcelain tiles on Flex Seal-painted plywood using tile adhesive. While Flex Seal provides a waterproof seal, it is not recommended as a base for tile installation. Tile adhesives generally require a stable, non-flexible, and clean surface to bond effectively. The flexible nature of Flex Seal might compromise the adhesion and longevity of the tiles. For the best results, we recommend removing the Flex Seal coating from the plywood before applying the tile adhesive. This will ensure a more secure and durable bond for your porcelain tiles. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out. We're here to help ensure your project is a success.

Could this product be used to coat a plywood shed floor that will house a snow blower? If yes, do you recommend any prep before applying? How long for the coating to fully dry? How many cans will I need to cover 120 Square feet? Thanks

Asked by: ChuckG
Hey there Chuck, thanks for reaching out! Many customers have seen success using Flex Seal Liquid to create a waterproof barrier. However, we do not recommend using our products for any underfoot repairs. Being such an effective sealant, water beads on the surface and creates a slipping hazard. If you have any other questions, send us an email at humans@flexsealproducts.com. We're always here to help.

Can this be used to fill in an expansion joint between the Concrete Driveway and the concrete house foundation. The gap is 1 in wide and 4 in deep and I would like to fill it compleatly for a good solid leak free connection.

Asked by: Kester925
Hey there! Many customers have seen success pouring Flex Seal Liquid into joints and cracks. We recommend pouring 1/4 inch at a time to ensure the product can properly cure. Additionally, be sure to wait 24 - 48 hours between applications. If you have any questions or need project help, send us an email at humans@flexsealproducts.com. We're always here to help!
