Rated 2 out of 5 by from Look great after lots of extra work My review and my husbands review are quite different but he is the one who installed them. Finished look, I absolutely love them, but to get that look took a lot of extra effort and cursing. First, the pattern is printed wonky on every 3-4th tile and we had a lot of waste as a result (buy extra!). Second, the tiles were peeling up already the next day and that first week, a new tile was peeling daily. We ended up having to add extra adhesive everywhere and continue to daily as they pop up. Once we added extra adhesive, they have remained in place. Quite curious how these will hold up over time. SO overall, Love the look a lot but quite cheaply made and if you want perfect symmetry, you wont get that.

We needed to use some carpet tape and other glue. There are still a few tiles that are peeling up. I'm not sure how long this floor will last.

Clean prep & rolled after with weighted roller ~ I had seen other comments about the adhesive not sticking ~ mine were amazing in that respect ~ therefore I don’t think others prepped & then weighted the tiles afterwards! Ours were put over an existing peel & stick tile.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from These curl up at the corners. These tiles are stunning! But they don’t line up… it was a bit frustrating but overall it’s not really noticeable. The biggest headache has been that they do not let flat. I prepped the floor very carefully using latex over a self level polymer. I wanted strong adhesion. Unfortunately all the corners and seems are popping up. Nothing is staying down. Incredibly disappointing considering the overall appearance is amazing! Not sure what I’ll do long term to ensure adhesion. But right now I’m contemplating that I will need to use some kind of adhesive. Which is not recommended…???

I ended up having to lift a few to put carpet tape under them. I’m a bit worried how they’ll hold up in the long run. On the plus side, they were super easy to install.

Can this be used on a chipboard subfloor?

Yes but you can get tiles that lift and don’t stick as well. Painting the floor before helps but doesn’t completely eliminate the tiles lifting

Great question! We do not recommend installing over grouted tiles as the base layer would not be secure. If you choose to install over ceramic or grouted tiles, we recommend filling all grout lines with set tile mortar before installing FloorPops over existing tiles.

Can this product be installed over a painted cement floor?

Can I remove this from the flooring under it without causing damage to the original flooring beneath it?

To be durable enough to withstand foot traffic, FloorPops were designed with a strong adhesive. This means that they are NOT removable in the sense that our peel and stick NuWallpaper or wall decals are removable/temporary. They can, however, be removed should you choose to- we recommend using a scraper or an object with a thin, flat surface to wiggle under a seam and pop a corner of the tile up. From there you should be able to peel off the tile with your hands. Please note that as the adhesive is strong, if installed on a painted surface FloorPops are likely to lift the paint. It is also possible that some adhesive residue may be left behind when FloorPops are removed.
