Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent nailer that takes a 2" nail, but doesn't drive deep This is probably not the best brad nailer I have used, but it does a good job. I think for the price and 7-year warranty, it's a pretty good deal. The installed swivel NPT male air connecter is a nice touch. The nailer is light yet sturdy. It comes with a belt hook that you can screw to the side of it to hang on your belt. There is no case or no bag. That's not necessarily an issue, just something to be aware of. Since there are not any accessories to speak of, the lack of a case doesn't make a difference. I like that it will fire a 2" nail. Some nailers will not take such long nails. My only issue is that it doesn't drive nails as deep as I would like. I used it on some crown molding with 2" nails; the molding wasn't even wood - MDF. I had the depth setting screwed all the way down to drive as deep as possible, and it still just drove the nail to flush with the work surface. I even turned the air pressure up at the tank, and it still only drove it to just flush. When I backed the depth setting out, it left the top of the brad well exposed out of the molding. I had to drive them in with a hammer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, smooth operation I chose this brad nailer to replace my many years older model that had developed an air leak. It is also larger, allowing for up to 2" brad nails, instead of just 1 1/4". What i didn't realize, however, is that this precluded you from using staples. That's right: this brad nailer only does brad nails. That was kind of a disappointment, as i missed that. None the less, this nailer performs quite well. It's well weighted, allowing for precise nailing. The magazine operation is SMOOTH and solid, meaning loading staples is a breeze. There's also a top mounted release mechanism that allows you the ability to very quickly clear a jam if one might occur. The trigger operation is flawless, with an adjustment wheel for setting the sensitivity depth of the trigger. Using this nailer, the nails go in straight and true, with no damage to your working surface thanks to a plastic protector on the safety toggle. Numerous accessories are included, such as an optional belt-loop holder, oil, and a pair of safety glasses. One thing that is obviously missing is a case for this gun. You'll have to store it in the box it came in, unfortunately. That's too bad because with an unprecedented 7 year warranty, this gun will outlast that poor box by many, many years. SUMMARY Overall, an excellent, well balanced brad nailer. Lots of adjustments and features. Cannot shoot staples. No case included. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
