Shelves inside cabinets can’t be adjusted and they are right in the way of main plumbing height to connect pipes for sinks

Rated 2 out of 5 by BETTER be Handy from MORE TROUBLE! JUST.... received this email REVIEW request from Home Depot, TWO MONTHS after I picked up the vanity. Home Depot should have sent it within a week or two, because now all the issues I have had with it are vague. I will try and remember the details........... Examined the box before un-crating to make sure someone had not rammed a forklift through it. Once un-boxed, took it all inside and put vanity in bathroom. Looked at instructions, and they were pretty vague. #1- 4 screw holes under each sink (double sink vanity), for screws that I assumed helped hold up the sinks once calked to underside of counter. NOPE....dry fit sinks and counter and they would not allow the top to sit flush on the vanity, so took them out. #2-there was a sag in the vanity, probably 1/8- 1/4 inch. Used the center leg to correct it as much as I dared, but did not want it to punch through the bottom shelf. Gap is reduced, but still there. #3- I saw that there were 2 goofy looking 3 x 3 inch stickers on the top and bottom drawer that said "push to open" or something like that. Peeled them off, and ALL the glue stayed on the vanity. Not sure if the MFG meant for them to stay on or not....was not in the instructions. The instructions say not to use any solvents on the finish.....so I am not sure how to get the glue off without messing with the warranty (i included this question to distributor). MFG should include a few glue removal wipes/towelettes. #4- Drawer out of alignment. Pulled the drawer out and found the one of the mechanism to align the drawer slide, had broken the drawer particle board......so I need a new drawer. #5- Door out of alignment. 2 doors on vanity, each one has 3 hinges. One of the 3 hinges was broken. Needed a new hinge, but never mind. I took the drawer slide off and put some wood glue on broken part, then clamped for a day. Put it back together so at least it works. The vanity itself has the look i wanted, but with all the issues, I don't think it gonna last. A custom built would have cost double, but will last 4 times as long i am guessing. I don't like the mirrors as much as I thought I would. First it was difficult to find a light fixture that protruded far enough out so the light bulbs were past the mirror frame. Next, the mirrors were a bit of a pain to hang. 8 exactly placed screws or the two wont match. I think one large beveled or flat matching wood frame mirror would have been much simpler. I called the Home Depot online number, and spoke with warranty dept. The agent seemed to have a hard time understanding all the issues. She could also not get through to the distribution company. So I took the number and attempted to call several times over the week to no avail. I don't think there was an answering machine.....it just kept ringing. Eventually, gave up frustrated and called Home Depot again. They were able to get someone for me. That person said send and email with photos and they would get back to me. I cant remember the exact date I sent the email, but I am sure its getting close to a month now. Went to Home Depot and had them replace the broken hinge. Problem is, not the exact hinge! The screw holes don't line up. Used wood apoxy to fill the old holes and put the new hinge on. Now the door will not stay closed completely, so had to put one of those small magnet things on so it stayed closed all the way. It works.....it was just another trip to Home Depot, and pain in the butt. If you install these all the time, I am sure its easier because you have dealt with all the problems and know how to fix, but DIYs will be a bit frustrated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mgm from Great vanity This is a great vanity. It came with the faucets, fixtures, back splash piece, mirrors. It is backless so was very easy to install. The only suggestion I have is to include another quartz piece to go on the side as my install was in a corner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wee Wils from Beautiful. I looked at this unit on a variety of sites in the US. Found that after weeks of searching, Home Depot started offering this brand at a great, competitive (and I believe lowest) price. We almost ordered the unit without the countertop and are so happy we didn't - the counter is much more beautiful than their 'white stone' description. It has a little bit of grey flakes in it, love the quality. Very happy!
