The self closing door feature stops the door about 5 inches away then if you push slightly on the door it will close on it's own from there. The flipper mullion will occasionally hit the adjacent door when closing if you don't flip it back a bit further manually. The compressor has a loud cycle that runs for a short time a few times a day. Nice looking unit, easy to access, great interior lighting, practical shelf location adjustments to suit our needs, big milk jug shelves on the door are great although it's a bit tricky to get them into the lower middle position, dual crispers are easy to access, the multiple freezer drawers make it easy to manage the contents, ice maker is handy. I haven't stopped and gave it a hug yet. Overall great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fridge for empty nesters. This is a replacement fridge because the first one arrived with dented stainless steel doors due to shipping damage. It is definitely much quieter than the damaged one, which is a relief because I live in an open concept condo. Having said that, I find the ice maker to be loud. My previous refrigerator only made noise when ice cubes fell into the storage tray.The size is adequate for our requirements, but it may be too small for a family. But I do have a concern. When we open the freezer drawer, both refrigerators make a clunking noise that makes us think something has broken. I'm not sure what that is, but hopefully Frigidaire will address it. Overall, I am pleased with this model.

My old refrigerator worked for over 20 years, so I've been looking for a french door refrigerator for a long time and finally found the perfect size. It's been two weeks since I started using this refrigerator, and the sound like a calm sea. The door pockets and inside of fridge are easy to use, the thermometer indicates it so I feel safe. The freezer is easy to use with drawers. There is no lighting in the freezer, but since it is a drawer type, it can be seen well with the lighting of the kitchen. Thank you for making this fridge. I appreciate Frigidaire.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good to keep food fresh, awful double doors This fridge gets the job done (keeping food fresh), but the double doors mechanism is so bad. The first one (frigde) I got simply did not work at all so I had to manually “reclap” the thingy every time I opened the door, they changed the whole fridge because of the defect, and the new one is almost just as bad. I’m so tired of this (i waited 6 months), I’ll just keep having to manually reclap the thingy in place myself for the rest of my life, I guess. All that to say, clearly this model has issues with the double doors feature, and with that price, it’s annoying as heck to have to “know” how to open your fridge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits well in a small space We have had our new fridge for a month now and we are happy with it. Our space is smaller and it fits well and looks great. We like the three drawers in the freezer, good for keeping things organized. The ice maker works well and keeps the bin full but the cubes are small and there's no way to make them bigger so they do melt faster. The produce/fruit bins are a decent size but wish they were bigger. I can't always get all the produce in them when we've just picked up groceries. The freezer needs a light, that would be helpful. Overall I'm happy with the fridge.

While a little smaller than our previous fridge, its layout maximizes its size. We don’t notice it being any louder than our previous fridge. We appreciate the extra space the French doors provide. Hopefully this fridge lasts as long as our previous model! Initial quality is excellent. No issues. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is I don’t know how long it will last without issues. However if initial quality is any indication we should be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great So we got this fridge because it was pretty much the only counter depth fridge that was short enough to fit into the kitchen of the house we recently bought. Love the look of it - looks great in the space. Very happy that it is a french door style and there is much more space inside than the old fridge. The only downside is that the interior shelving is the full width of the fridge. So you can adjust the height on the shelves, but you cannot adjust the height of each side of the fridge individually - which would have been nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the counter depth feature Bought this refrigerator about a month ago and so far, so good. Purchased it because of our smaller kitchen in an older home. The counter depth and 31 inch width works perfectly for us. We are still adapting to all the door bins, which seem very sturdy. Only thing missing is a specific door bin with a cover to keep butter. It came with an ice-maker inside the freezer compartment which we are not utilizing, but we just turned it off. I also like the smudge free SS and that I can still use my magnets on the front of the fridge.

Has anyone removed the handles in order for more clearance? Any pictures ? How does it look without handles?

It would be hard -or at least inconvenient to open especially the freezer drawer without a handle. I can't see the need anyway. We have a wall and deco panel flanking the fridge, with a 1" gap either side and the doors 1" backset from the end of wall and panel, and the doors are not obstructed.

About the listed ‘Depth’, as most fridges are never dead flat in the back, does it include any extra protrusions that may stand out? Or is the specified ‘Depth’ measured from the front edge of the door to the rear edge of the cabinet itself?… Thanks!…

Are the doors magnetic?

Magnet sticks to the door. The door itself is not magnetic. The door is slightly curved. Magnet doesn't stick as well as it would to a flat door.

The door opening to our kitchen is 29". Is it possible to remove the doors on the fridge so we can get it through the door opening?
