Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks amazing in kitchen Bought this for a 2-3 months now for our new house, as it was a new build and came with no appliances. PROS: - Looks gorgeous and modern - doesn't have a back panel, as the knobs are on the front, so it doesnt cover the backsplash - easier access for knobs on the front - self-cleaning - cooktop with 4+ spots CONS: - knobs/buttons will take awhile to figure out how to use the controls/settings (not super easy to use, but its not rocket science) - dont like that it doesnt display the oven temp as the oven is warming up.. it just beeps once its ready (old stove would show the temp rising from 0 to the desired temperature) - the cooktop, although it looks great, very easy to get dirty and water stains will show. will prob need to buy special wipes for it to look super clean (if thats something that bugs you) - it takes awhile to heat up (surprising for a new oven), but once it heats up it cooks very fast often burning

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Electric Stove Very poor appliance. Stove top stains permanently even with light spills (i.e. drops of water). Even when you clean promptly with proper stove top cleaner and sponge the stains remain. Also, the oven is very loud when turned on and remains loud for duration of use. I would certainly not recommend to anyone. I would return if I could.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too loud - stay away We bought this oven 1 week ago. We had read a few reviews that mentioned it was loud, but we didn't take those reviews seriously. However after using it several times, it's driving us nuts. The buzzing noise continues over 1 hour after the oven has been turned off. An oven is a 10 year commitment. There's no way we can deal with this for 10 years, let alone another week. We're looking to swap it out now. How could Fridigaire product managers even release an oven with this noise issue? It should be removed from the product line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Features, Crappy Stove top I received my electric range a few months ago. I agree with C. Butler, even though i clean and shine the top, it is cloudy and looks like it has been scratched even though i have proper pots and pans. Every time i use the top i have to thoroughly clean and shine it. It does not look like a new stove. I read reviews and see comment that your design team will look into this for future. Shouldn't these issues been reviewed before the range was actual sent out for the consumer to purchase? Was there a cook test, or cleaning test done on these ranges? The oven is great so far, no complaints...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failed during very 1st cleaning cycle Bought in March 2020. It is now July 2020 and it no longer works. I used the cleaning cycle for the first time and the stove malfunctioned. I have an F95 code which is a door lock failure code. Power cycled the appliance twice, after 10 minutes of being unplugged it goes right back into failure mode and the fan starts. Nothing else works, I get the three beep failure chime.I bought the extended warranty cannot get anyone to answer the phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE!!! Stove top gets stained EASILY I got this stove only a few days ago and have used it only a handful of times. The stove top has scuff marks and scratches on it. How can a few days old stove get scratches and marks on it so easily?! We've barely used it and have tried to clean it appropriately but nothing is working!! This is horrible. I was super excited for this stove but it doesn't look good anymore with all the marks on it. It seems like some of it is under the top layer as well. Would a think a high end brand and expensive stove wouldn't have these issues. Not happy at all!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's going back! I just plugged this thing in and it sounds like it's taking off. I saw a few reviews that it was a bit noisy but I certainly didn't expect this. If all of them are like this, I'm shocked all of them aren't being returned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but... It works fine but one element can only be used for fast/high heat no matter the setting and it is VERY noisy. But it suits my purposes and was a decent price point for a slide in.

This oven emits a loud hum when operating even when cooling down like a fan. Is this normal?

Asked by: derrick
My oven does the same thing, I believe it is the fan cooling the oven after you shut it off. It's annoying, though, as I often think I've left it on.

Does the Frigidaire range need a range hood ?

Asked by: Neely
Yes

Date published: 2022-06-14

Is it just me ....or is this oven super loud? I just received it today and I need to use the oven/burners in the next 48 hours to ensure they all work. The noise level is crazy! I've never heard a stove hum/buzz so much? Anyone else?

Asked by: Lynne
Hi Lynne! The is a cooling fan inside your range that may run throughout the cooking cycle as well as 30 to 60 minutes after the range is turned off, which is normal. It may also be helpful to ensure that the range is installed and secured correctly. We hope this information was beneficial to you! - Damon

Is this a convection oven or std. top and bottom element

Asked by: Tyler
Hello Tyler. This model range is not convection. It does have an exposed broil element up top and a hidden bake element at the bottom. Kindly, Anna

Does this oven have downdraft venting at the back? If so, does it work?

Asked by: purplegrasshopper
Hi there Purplegrasshopper. No, this electric range does not feature a downdraft vent. The area at rear of the range is the oven vent. When the oven is on, warm air is released through the vent. This venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results. We ask that you do not block this vent. ~ Anna
