I was NOT looking to buy a new range but we had a power surge which destroyed my oven and was not repairable due to age of range.I wanted coil top and I wanted black and they had the ability to order exactly that for me....It is easy to use and it felt very familiar and comfortable to me .it is a beauty and matches my black dishwasher and refrigerator... thank you Frigidaire !!!

Needless to say that we defininitley got our monies worth out of our old range. What a difference. Our new range cooks much faster with even heat and the ease of using is wonderful and I love the new features of this range. I can certainly see the difference in this newer version and it is very stylish. I also like the newer version for the burners and removal of cleaning. No more uneven burners as these now lock into the drip trays and set evenly. The digital display for the over as well as a beep when pre-heated is great. It allows me to do other things while I am waiting for it to pre-heat, which it does very quickly. I would recommend this for anybody on the fence about an electric range with elements.

Heats up fast and holds steady. We haven’t had any issue with the buttons in the middle of the burners, a variety of cookware works out just fine from cast iron to lighter weight ceramic.

Is this Frigidaire stove energy star rated?

According to the EnergyStar website there are no EngergyStar labels for residential ovens, ranges or micorwaves. Though you didn't ask: the details on Home Depot's site state that it is Manual Clean, it DOES have a self-cleaning option (don't know how well it works as I haven't tried it, but the choice exists).
