Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Induction cooktop I love the functionality of induction; like gas but better. I had a Samsung but broke it dropping a lg glass bottle of oil on it. I didn't like how very LOUD Samsung's beeper is (it beeps for everything you do) and I could only fit pots on 3 burners at once the Samsung (insufficient room for more.) Last Saturday, I used all 5 burners at once on this one! I'm so glad I got this instead of another Samsung. The beeper is much quieter but why do I need sound anyway? I'm not visually impaired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my induction cooktop. I had heard it might be hard to adjust to induction cooking, but I haven't found that to be the case. The controls are very simple to use. I chose the induction option because it saves energy.

Only downside is the Lock does not have a light to confirm that the lock is engaged. Minor issue of having to touch the unit three times to turn on a burner location: Power On, Burner On, then Power Level selection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Auto Sizing Does Not Work The auto sizing feature does not work. I have a 10" cast iron skillet on the 10" burner and only approximately 6-7" of the pan heats up. You can see this clearly when boiling water. I also had trouble with a 10" enameled dutch oven. You can see how it burned the food in a 7" ring. The technician that Frigidaire sent out said that's just the way it works and that he couldn't do anything... Stay away from this cooktop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Auto Sizing Does Not Work The auto sizing feature does not work at all. When using a 10" cast iron pan on the 10" burner only the center 6-7" of the pan heats up. The technician came out and told me that's just how it works... If you slide the pan back and forth across the burner several times (and risk scratching the cooktop) it eventually seems to kick on but by that point the center of the pan is scorching hot while the outside of the pan is just starting to warm up. Stay away from this cooktop.

Is there a timer on the burners to shut the heat off after a certain amount of time?

Is there a timer on the burners to shut the heat off after a certain amount of time?
Asked by: Alpine
Hello, we understand your concerns about using a timer to turn off the burners. After researching, the cooktop timer does not affect the cooking zone settings in any way. The timer is used to remind you when food has been cooking for a certain time. The cooking zones need to be turned off when the timer ends. -Chris

Just bought the 36” cooktop because of the Fit Promise we had pipes burst in the recent Texas cold spell so having to replace induction cooktop. Today old one was removed looks like we need the space to be 35” long and ours is 34” so went to look at the Fit Promise form shows it ended 12/20, any chance it was extended into 2021?

When installing on granite countertops is there a foam seal trim kit of some type that can be used under the edges? If not it looks like food particles and particularly liquids would pass through and fall through into the cabinet underneath. Eventually gumming up the area between the cooktop and granite!
Asked by: Blueeyesis
Hello! We do not carry that kind of product for this model. As long as the counter is flat, the cooktop should fit flush against it. Thank you for your inquiry! ~Ashton
