Rated 3 out of 5 by from So-So Satisfaction I am only somewhat satisfied with this appliance. I’ll start with what I like: the induction units work very well. It also has an easy-to-set timed baking function, so you can leave the house with the oven on if you need to do so, without worrying about the food burning. Here’s what I don’t like. I thought that being a “Gallery” appliance, it would function like a higher-end appliance, but it doesn’t. The convection feature is only fair (like a Frigidaire convection range I bought 15 years ago - no improvement? Sheesh!) – food does not cook evenly in it. The oven light, which is off to the left side, is a dull yellow and does not illuminate the right side of the oven well. This low light also makes it difficult to see the food inside without opening the door. The only way you know if the stovetop is hot is to bend down and look into tiny (pinhole) lights alongside the controls on the back panel. I’m 5’5” and cannot see these lights at a normal standing height. Higher end ranges show you the oven temperature as it’s going up toward your pre-heat, but this display tells you nothing, other than the target temperature. The Frigidaire microwave and dishwasher I bought have beautiful sleek designs, making this clunky-looking stove appear to have come out of a lower-end collection from the 1990s (I only bought it because it was the most affordable induction range on the market). It doesn’t look much different than conventional ranges from years ago. More thought could have gone into the design so that it would go better with the other appliances. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Induction is great This range was purchased for a new home. Having never had induction before, we were apprehensive. But it has been great. Water boils very quickly, cleanup after cooking is easy since the stove barely gets warm. It will take some getting used to new power levels, but it is worth it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The induction cook top is as responsive as gas! I love this induction cook top and oven. The induction cook top is as responsive as gas but much easier to clean up with its smooth surface. I have cooked on an induction cook top for years but was looking for an oven as well. I did not know such a combination feature existed so when I saw it in the store, I was thrilled and bought it that day! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Induction range - great so far ! I have had this a month and so far, we love it. The speed which it can boil water is amazing, We have not yet done a lot of baking, but the convection should help there also. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funtionally great! We have had the range for about a month and it works great. Heats up quickly and performs as advertised. Time will tell if it endures. The four stars (instead of five) is simply due to the lack of detail in the instruction manual. It took us guessing and trying a couple of things to find out all of the features. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Cook My wife and I were very unhappy with the way our glass top stove. It was very slow at heating. She insisted we look into a new stove and I discovered Induction Ranges. Frigidaire had the best online ratings! They were right. We are very happy now! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Speedy cooking I have never before used a stove top that cooked so fast. No waiting for a pan to heat up - it's under a minute. A kettle of water boils in a couple of minutes. The oven and broiler work very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am interested in purchasing Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch 5.4 cu.ft. InductionModel # CGIF3036TF. The specifications say the front right burner is 9.4 inches. Does this mean my induction compatable frying pan with a 10 inch bottom will not work?

Asked by: Barry123
We use large fry pans and stock pot with no issue

My previous Frigidaire Range (model #:CGES3065PF) was VERY LOUD when the burners or the oven were turned on,it was like a fan immediately started running, this would cause cool air being blown out. I was wondering if this model has the same issues

Asked by: Shaz
Hi Shaz! Thank you for your inquiry. When the surface controls are activated a cooling fan will turn on and remain on until the control is turned off; which is normal. Some models are equipped with fans that run during and after normal operation to cool and ventilate the appliance. We hope this information was helpful to you. -Thanks!-
