Whip up delicious meals with induction that delivers incredibly even heat across the surface of the pan so you get golden results every time. Don't stress over spills with induction's easy-to-clean surface that generates heat only to your pan, not your cooktop, meaning spills can't burn onto the surface.

  1. Express-Select Electronic Touch Controls are sleek in design and easily go from warm to boil with the touch of your finger

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cant find the right pans [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the looks of this stove top and it cleans beautifully. I only have the problem of finding the correct cookware. We had to have all the guts replaced because it wasnt heating up on the front burners. Now that it is fixed it sure doesnt boil water near this fast. The tech had a pan from Frigidaire that worked great but you cant buy them anymore from here. I spent alot of money on pans that work but the water doesnt boil like this!!! So if it did and I could find the correct cookware I would rate it higher

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great induction stove top [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using induction cooking for the last 15 years. Technology has improved during this time and this stovetop is amazing! The power setting boils water faster than the microwave! The low settings are great at melting chocolate or keeping things warm. I love the number of "burners" . It is very easy to keep clean and looks so lovely in my new house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just like a gas range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an electric cooktop with this induction-type because we were unable to run a gas line to the kitchen when we moved into our home. Having never used induction before, I was interested after reading the reviews about them. The reviews are true -- it is very easy to use and virtually the same as gas. The heat adjusts as quickly as gas, and there is no worry about an open flame. The design is sleek-looking and the glass is sturdy. The only drawback is that it streaks easily when cleaning and I can't seem to ever get the streaks completely removed (maybe it's just me) after using multiple cleaners and cloths. Having said that, I would definitely buy this again. I enjoy using this very much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The left front burner only works if another burner is also being used. I don't know if this is by design or a flaw in my unit. Other than that I LOVE it. It's beautiful, very easy to keep clean, and much healthier for the kitchen environment than the gas stovetop that was in the house when we bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cooktop on the market As good, or better, than any other induction cooktop on the market. I have owned more expensive units and they do not add anything above what this one has. The unit is actually made by Electrolux.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Happy in Colorado [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used an electric cooktop for 22 years as we do not have a gas hookup. We have always been frustrated with the inability to shut a burner off and just leave the pot on the stove because the burner took so long to cook down. The induction is amazing- almost exactly like gas in your ability to immediately lower and raise the temperature of what you are cooking and it cooks so evenly! We will never go back!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cook top [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We never had an induction cook top. This product installed easily and was extremely easy to learn the operations. Great stove! Heats up quickly......it will change how you cook!

14GA=15A, 12GA=20A 10GA=30A 8GA=40A. This has an amperage rating of 40A so 8 gauge wire is needed at the least. Talk to your local electrical contractor to confirm this is with in your local electrical codes.

Is the cookie compatible with standard cookware?

Do I need magnetic cookware? I currently have an induction cooktop that does not require special pots and pans for cooking.
Asked by: HeyFromNewOrleans
Induction cooktops don?t require ?special? cookware, just cookware that is ferrous or to which a magnet sticks. If a magnet doesn?t stick to your current cookware, it isn?t ?not special??it?s just that your current cooktop just isn?t induction.

can cast iron be used on this cook top?
Asked by: Mcattack
Yes. Cast iron works. We currently use enamel coated cast iron cookware and it works very well. Uncoated cast iron should work just as well, you wold just need to be a little more careful about scratching the stove’s glass surface with a rough bottom.
