I was skeptical of a microwave with a stainless steel interior also. I have tried almost all the features. I love the oven and roaster and how golden the top of the meat was. I am still trying to figure out the air fryer and try to match the results with smaller air frye only quality. The air fryer is the only feature I am iffy about. I was able to make great tasting beef and pork roasts in half the time as in a conventional oven. The defrost feature works great too and the reheat feature is near perfect

It is a pretty big unit but you can do so much with it that I don't mind. I have used it to reheat food, cook pizzas, a whole chicken and used the air fryer to make French fries and chicken wings. The air fryer takes longer than I expected but I have not been disappointed with the quality of the food. The sensor cook feature uses a humidity sensor to make sure the food is cooked perfectly. Another cool feature is that when you use the sensor reheat it automatically stopped when the food is hot and ready. Overall I am happy with this appliance and all of the features it has.

Although it is larger than a standard microwave oven, it freed up counter space by replacing my old microwave, toaster oven and air fryer. It has a modern design, large capacity and stainless steel interior making it easy to clean. The microwave feature works like a standard microwave with a rotating turntable, but what really impressed me is the convection oven feature which cooks food evenly and in less time than my old counter top oven. It also has an air fry feature. It also has many pre-sets or you can set cooking temperature and time manually.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Little Appliance The Galanz 1.2 SpeeidWave 3 in 1 Convection Oven is all it says it is. It's amazing to have so many features in one appliance. We are saving on power as we aren't using our stove/oven as much now. There are just 2 things about it that bother us which is the beep is too loud and too long (4 beeps) and there is no way of turning this feature off. The other is the light inside is too dim. You can't see your food cooking through the window as it's too dark so if you want to check to see how it's doing you have to open the door to look. Otherwise, we really like it.

I am so gratefull for this rare gem! it is a larger appliance but at the end of the day, I gained more counter space in my kitchen as I got rid of my old microwave and an air fryer. It works quietly, microwave heats food evenly and fast. I've made steak, chicken nuggets and wings so far and they all turned out to be delicious! There’s plenty of room inside to cook at least for a family of four (like mine). Just look at its faboulous design (sleek and modern). This is a true asset to my kitchen!

Trying to get a refund from the company is a NIGHTMARE. It’s been over 6 weeks since they approved a refund after a lot of back and forth and they still haven’t sent it after I’ve called twice. Customer service is very kind but their process is like kicking the van down the road - so many excuses. Do not buy unless you are an appliance repair tech and never intend to deal with support.

Perks you have one item that does three things. However, let's take a close look at each part on the regular microwave it only goes in increments of ten seconds. For the air fryer it goes in increments of 2 seconds after the first 10 seconds and temperature goes up by 25 degree. Convention oven is the same as airfryer. Continuous need to turn the dial to get to the desired time. It would be nice to have different features or added features. Such as single second increments or a button just to warm up coffee. Items come out extremely hot more so than a normal microwave.

Roasting, baking, and air frying convection operations WORK GREAT! All metal interior is very nice even though I’m not sure if it is stainless steel. Door handle is VERY sturdy and well-made. The ability to select time and temperature via a rotary knob is very handy. REMINDER BEEPING IS VERY WELCOME (after item is cooked or re-heated) CONS: Control buttons are NOT lighted making them difficult to see in low light or for someone with visual difficulties CAN NOT SEE WHAT IS COOKING even though the weak cabinet light is on The instructions indicate you must take microwave to a service location to have the lightbulb replaced for the oven. This is ridiculous. SENSOR cooking mode or reheating mode DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY AT ALL. It overcooks or overheats the food badly. You are limited to 10 second intervals on the timing which is very inconvenient for heating small items or temperature sensitive items. Overall, very good for the money, but needs some serious upgrades to make it excellent.

Does this "convection oven" have the option to heat food using heated coils like a normal oven for "convection" or is it using micro-waves and not really using heated coil elements like a normal oven?

The Galanz SpeedWave has convection coils on the top and behind the back wall. The rear elements surrounds a convection fan, for true European style convection. Program functions are divided between use of the microwave, use of the elements, and a combination of the two. It is possible to heat or cook your food using either of the functions listed. The Galanz SpeedWave has a plastic pedestal base in front, and two plastic feet in the back. On a standard countertop, the weight of the oven should be sufficient to prevent it from moving when opening the door. This oven does not have rubber feet. Can I use this oven for just regular baking not convection bake. I don't use my wall oven in the summer as I live in the desert and we don't need a lot of oven space since we are just two people. I really only need bake and toast.
